@5sei_5sei_5sei_ @alppe_188 Why people die? Dying is a way to reset your brain to accept the afterlife. Now, our brains can’t imagine how the afterlife looks like or what could be there. But once we die, we reset our mind so we can process the afterlife

@green_voyage @TheKaizokuGari Why is your country not taking actions against them? Why are there no rules? We are in a different country so technically we can’t help. Your own country system can stop anything interfering with your norms and traditions. Change it from inside your country. This will be easier

You’re directing your frustration at the wrong people.

Japan is a sovereign country with its own laws, authorities, and institutions. If these incidents continue, you should be questioning why your authorities aren’t taking sufficient action.

Every country has laws and social norms that residents and visitors must follow. Religious freedom doesn’t give anyone the right to cause disturbances or disregard local rules.

Now, let’s put things into perspective. According to research published in 2025 by Professor Hirofumi Tanada of Waseda University:

* 363,413 foreign Muslim residents in Japan
* Approximately 420,000 Muslims in Japan in total
* Just 0.34% of Japan’s population of around 123 million

Yet you’re taking incidents involving a small number of individuals in Japan and using them to judge nearly 2 billion Muslims worldwide, the overwhelming majority of whom have absolutely nothing to do with these incidents.

I’ve already condemned disrespectful behavior, yet you continue arguing as though I’m defending it.

If someone breaks Japanese law, hold them accountable. If enforcement is inadequate, demand action from your authorities. That’s their responsibility.

Every country has its own social manners, and nobody is against being polite. My point is that politeness should reflect genuine respect, not just appearances.

You’re defending Japanese manners while comparing people from another country to animals. Don’t you see the contradiction?

I understand what you are saying. But It is important to distinguish between the actions of individual Muslims and the actual teachings of Islam.

The Quran provides clear instructions on how Muslims should treat people of other religions and beliefs.

For context, Allah (الله) is the Arabic word for God, and Surah (سورة) means a chapter of the Quran. Even Arabic Christians or Jews, say Allah. This is an arabic translation for the word God.

Here are three examples directly from the Quran, with the original Arabic and Japanese translations. You can look it up yourself.

1. Surah Al-An’am (6:108) — Do not insult what others worship.

2. Surah Al-Mumtahanah (60:8) — Treat others with kindness and justice.

3. Surah Al-Kafirun (109:6) — Recognizing religious differences.

These teachings come directly from the Quran. True followers of Islam are expected to put these principles into practice.

If someone repeatedly behaves disrespectfully at a Japanese shrine or memorial, especially after being asked to stop, that behavior deserves criticism. Being Muslim does not automatically make someone’s actions consistent with Islamic teachings.

You mentioned that outsiders do not care about the differences between Islamic sects. But my point is not about sects. It is about distinguishing religious teachings from individual behavior.

Consider an example from Japanese history.

In 1995, members of Aum Shinrikyo, a Japanese religious movement led by Shoko Asahara, carried out the Tokyo subway sarin attack, killing 14 people and injuring thousands.

The movement incorporated Buddhist ideas, yet its actions contradicted the Buddhist principle against killing.

Would it be reasonable to judge Buddhism or all its followers by the actions of that group? Of course not.

The same principle should apply when discussing Islam. This is not about comparing the severity of the incidents, but about distinguishing religious teachings from individual responsibility.

A person’s religion tells you what they are taught to follow. Their actions tell you whether they actually follow it.

I hope that everyone, regardless of religion, nationality, or beliefs, can respect one another, understand our differences, and find a way to live together peacefully.

[Sick’em boy @Sickemb0y]

I don’t know anything about the Muslims living in Japan. We are Muslims and live in different countries. Sometimes we travel as tourists and we act with respect to other people. When people say Muslims, it means all means. If there are problems with people in your country, mention the nationality or race as well. Just don’t select all muslims worldwide and say they are bad because of the actions of few people who are living in your country.

[Sick’em boy @Sickemb0y]

I understand that there are people who are nice and there are bad. Unfortunately, attacking a religion of 2 billion people is no joke. Everyone is free to criticize certain races or nationalities but when it comes to faith , this is totally wrong. Everyone has different beliefs and faiths. If someone doesn’t agree, no issue, but don’t insult it.

(Honne to Tatemae)
