This week our Year 8 Agriculture class had a working bee and harvested about 50 jars worth of sweet local honey 🐝The jars are available for sale in Licona Uniform Shop while supplies last!

Today the College celebrated the beginning of Lent with Ash Wednesday Liturgies, led by Fr Tom and Fr Joe. During this season of Lent, our community is encouraged to “pray, fast, and give” as a way of preparing ourselves for the celebration of Easter.

For Shrove Tuesday, Cheshire House served hundreds of pancakes with delicious toppings to raise funds for the Ryder-Cheshire Foundation, a charity which supports patients in Timor-Leste and Northern India who live with tuberculosis, leprosy, or intellectual disabilities.

Today the Christopher Brennan Library celebrated Library Lovers Day with a fun 'book speed dating' lesson in Mr Rhys Williams' Year 9 English Class. Students had 5 minutes with a number of books before selecting one for some quiet reading.

Today we celebrated the Class of 2022 at the Laureate Assembly, recognising in particular the Dux of the College, Patrick Byrne, and College Proxime Charles Henry. Akol Akol was also recognised with the new Studium award, for the most significant growth in learning.👏🏆

Year 5 students are having a blast at the Milson Island Sport and Recreation Centre camp this week; canoeing down lakes, riding mountain bikes, aiming for the bullseye at archery, and forging firm new friendships ☺️

We were delighted to welcome over 700 of our parents and carers to Dalton Quad on Friday night. Our P&F community and staff reconnected after the summer break over some drinks and canapés while Rian, Year 12 student, performed with the guitar. ☺️

Thursday is 'Food Day' in mentor groups, and the first for 2023 did not disappoint! Students brought in homemade cupcakes, assortments of chips, fruits, and snacks, and one mentor group went all-out with delicious ice-cream sundaes. ☺️

The entire College gathered this morning to celebrate a number of joyful opening school masses, led by Father Tom Renshaw SJ in Ramsay Hall and Father Joe Dooley SJ in Regis Hall. We're thrilled to have all students back at the College, refreshed for another year of learning ☺️.

Year 5 has arrived! ⁣We’re excited to be welcoming our youngest Ignatians today, as they commence their journey with the College at Regis. This morning Year 8 to 12 returned to the Senior campus, and tomorrow, Year 6 will return to Regis. 💙🤍

Yesterday we welcomed our new Year 7 boarders with afternoon tea in Dalton Quad, followed by some touch footy and a BBQ in front of Charles Fraser House - their new home away from home. Please join us in making them feel extra welcome.
