These student changemakers had a fulfilling moment with the executive director of SIDAF during his recent visit to Ghana. The students were assured of the SIDAF board's resolve to give them the necessary support to steer the association forward.

Over the past three (3) weeks, our dedicated members of the SIDAF-UCC Students Chapter have worked in #collaboration to trigger solutions to the sanitation problems at popular beach zones along the coastal stretch of Ghana.

The entire campaign is part of efforts by #SIDAF to help boost local tourism and to drive the way forward towards a future of positive transformation under the #FREE program.

We experienced fulfilling moments within the past week! Members of the SIDAF family, including some selected students from the SIDAF-UCC Students Chapter, led some students in Elmina to execute another flagship campaign, "Clean the Beaches!"

Extensively, we seek to inspire a sense of community ownership of the beaches among the indigenes of our Ghanaian coastal areas to boost local tourism.

The school expressed high interest in partnering with SIDAF to execute the project as soon as possible. The students would be tasked to lead innovations for various student groups in the community.
The Project Manager of SIDAF and Mr Mensah (Benard), a key member of the SIDAF-UCC Students Chapter, visited and interacted with the management of the Abundance of Grace School (Elmina, Ghana).

The discussion was focused on exploring the possibilities of embarking on a student-based project that seeks to raise environmental awareness among the students and the community members.
