On the topic of opening Indian markets to US agricultural and dairy products, he stood his ground: “I will not compromise the interests of our farmers.”

When pressured to stop importing oil from Russia, his reply was clear: “I will not place the burden of someone else’s ego on the shoulders of India's middle class.”

His message to the world, and to Trump, was dignified and powerful: “Friendship is important, but I hold a constitutional office. My first duty is to my people.”

This is the kind of principled leadership that makes him the most respected leader globally while others trail behind.

Dear Mr. Narender Modi,

Kindly, treat this post as a serious concern from an Indian who dotes and respects her nation. I have to a great extent given up my attachment to my regional identity as a Kashmiri Hindu whose roots were ripped apart in 1990 because of religious persecution but I will not, at any cost, compromise on my identity as an Indian and a Hindu which is why this post.

You are in your third term which is phenomenal. Your work in infrastructure, science, sports, cultural revival is observable and now it’s time to look RTE right in its face and call it what it is. While minority institutions thrive with protected autonomy, Hindu children grow up institutionally estranged from their own heritage.

My post is in the following 3 sections:

1. In India, the minority Institutions have autonomy and the right to establish and administer educational institutions of their choice. This includes the right to teach religious texts, preserve culture, and operate with minimal state interference.

What it means for Hindus: Christian schools teach Biblical values; madrasas teach Islamic theology and jurisprudence often funded or aided by the state, directly or indirectly but we Hindus can’t learn about their itihasa and dharma.

2. Even though our spiritual traditions are diverse and decentralised, Hindu-run schools must comply with RTE norms, cannot deny admission to outsiders under the 25% quota, and cannot legally mandate or prioritise religious instruction.

This is despite the fact that Hinduism, unlike Abrahamic faiths, has no central authority, no formal “church,” and therefore relies heavily on community-level transmission e.g., gurukuls, temple schools, and oral traditions.

What it means for Hindus: Most mainstream schools- CBSE, ICSE, state boards do not teach Hindu philosophy, epics, or rituals beyond superficial cultural references like Diwali holidays, or a Sanskrit shloka in the assembly.

Hindu children don’t formally learn about:
❌ The Upanishads or Vedas
❌ Hindu cosmology or ethics (Dharma, Karma, Moksha)
❌ Regional practices and deities
❌ Philosophical schools like Vedanta, Nyaya, Sankhya

Contrast this with Islamic or Christian institutions where religious texts are part of the curriculum.

3. Many Hindu youth grow up knowing more about Western philosophers or Abrahamic religions than their own. This leads to a vacuum of identity, where Hinduism is either reduced to festivals or viewed through the colonial lens of casteism and superstition.

What it means for Hindus: With no structured value-based curriculum around Hindu ethos, the younger generation lacks intellectual grounding in their heritage.

4. In absence of institutional religious education, Hindu learning is outsourced to spiritual gurus or YouTube videos, some authentic, some not.

What it means for Hindus: This creates fragmentation, misinformation, and a growing disconnect between tradition and modernity.

India said NO.

Back in the 60s, 
America exported wheat.

Since 1990 in US:

Infertility

The “solution”?
Drugs.

Subscriptions, not cures.
Survival kits dressed as care.

Big Food makes you sick.

And guess what?

They fund food.
They fund meds.
They fund the narrative.

India said NO.

And they came out swinging:
Trump tweets.
Pakistan diplomacy.
Sudden Western media outrage.
Opposition cries, “Modi failed!”

But no one tells you why.
Because this isn’t about trade.

It’s about turning our land into their next sick market.

Hyper‑processed.
Hyper‑obese.
Hyper‑medicated.

If India signs?
We lose:
Our farms
Our seeds
Our soil
Our future

All for a Trade Deal?

Behind the Curtains, the villains:
Agri: Bayer, ADM, Cargill
Food: Nestlé, PepsiCo, Kraft
Pharma: Pfizer, J&J, Merck
Insurance: UnitedHealth

And behind them all,
The same hands.
Same dollars.
Same ruthless plan.

So next time someone says:
“Why don’t we just agree with the US?”

Ask them:
Feed your family, or feed their factories?

We’re not anti‑America.
We’re pro‑soil. 
Pro‑truth. 
Pro‑future.

If that makes us difficult,
So be it.

Because if we sign on their terms,
We lose more than a deal.

Union Minister .@PiyushGoyal Ji has become New Nightmare for US Admñ who hasn't been able to convince Bharat even for Interim Trade Deal inspite of all persuasion & pressure.

Piyush Ji has simply refused to give unrestricted access to US Agro Products to Bharatiya Market. Main point of contention is Genetically Modified Crops (GM Crops) & Seeds and #Modi Sarkar has refused to budge to any pressure come what maybe!

GM Seeds is death knell for Bharat's Agriculture as these seeds kill the fertility of soil. In short, US wants to finish Bharat's position as 'Food Bowl of World'. It also means huge blow to our majority population engaged in Agriculture & Agro-Industry.

US wants to push GM Crops in Bharat which will be disaster for Bharatiyas' health. GM crops result in various diseases like Obesity, Diabetes, Infertility, Depression, Liver Failure & even Cancer. So by pushing GM crops like GM corn, GM soy, GM canola...US won't only kill Health of Bharatiyas but will also open huge market in Bharat for its Pharma Industry.

But unfortunately for US & fortunately for Bharat, we have Modi Sarkar which doesn't sell IMAAN for money, like previous Govts in India, violating National Interest. And Piyush Ji being a Tough, Very Tough negotiator is doing exactly that.

Trump was right. It's very difficult to deal with TODAY'S Bharat under Modi Sarkar 💪

From now, the PMO, Home Ministry, Defence Ministry, even Finance Ministry will be busy fighting their own wars now.

But it is high time we have full time MIB and ME&IT ministers as the war over the information and cyber domain is going to be as important as the other wars India has to fight.

India's control over narrative, propaganda, infowar, and its own ability to counter propaganda is severely lacking and has been so for too long. This is inexcusable.

Even small countries and groups are doing propaganda inside India freely. Forget Pakistani and Chinese SM propaganda, they are directly sponsoring shows from foreign countries to be aired on our vernacular media with no action on either the funding or the propaganda.

India is being divided and incited by their infowar and psyops on a daily basis. Not to mention their perverted and extremely sick content spoiling our youth. It is painful to see the current ministers not even talk about it for once.

What's the point of defense ministry sending forces to corners of India to fight our own youth after an unrest, but who were in first place allowed to be poisoned by propaganda to act against their own country?

And why should India with so many young talent and brains, including inside the ruling party, have one minister handle three key portfolios? What are we saving here?

I am totally perplexed how we can take the information, cyber, and tech domain so casually. If this continues, the next terror attack may not be physical but a cyber attack causing immense damage to finance, infra, people's trust in govt, and the country itself.

An Army Officer explains how "The Ashoka Syndrome" underlies why several foreign powers want PM @narendramodi to be defeated. Though I received this on WA, I'm sharing as I agree with the thesis.

In India, it's never about ideology. It is only about civilization. And to put it on record this is why PM @narendramodi faces a massive smear campaign from a powerful lobby. But this did not start in 2014. It started long ago... we have to go back by centuries to understand this.
India wasn't born in 1947, because unlike many other countries we became independent and were not created afresh. Therefore, what happened before 1947 is as important as what happened after 1947.
Excessive Ahimsa weakened Indians (Buddha, Mahavira & much later Gokhale, Gandhi). The most underrated event in our history being the Kalinga war of 265 BC. The war changed Ashoka, the famous Mauryan ruler but it would also change India for centuries to come. The emperor became pacifist . Whatever be his own ideology, it is very easy to confuse reluctance to wage war with a senselessly defensive mindset. For years to come, the Indian civilization became utterly defensive. Succeeding Indian dynasties and emperors would avoid expansionism.
But their ability to perceive and pre-empt threats also went down. Compromise and forgiveness became the keywords of our civilization. The Ashoka syndrome would soon become the Prithviraj (Chauhan) syndrome. Indians have been valiant warriors, but the issue is that of excessive magnanimity. Prithviraj Chauhan defeated Muhammad Ghori a few times ( 3 to 7 times, versions wary) in the 11th century AD, but let him go. Later, Ghori defeated Prithviraj and blinded him.
In the course of this thread, you will realize how we would keep getting betrayed just like Prithviraj Chauhan another 10 centuries later. Anyway, Prithviraj Chauhan's unnecessary magnanimity allowed Islamic conquest of India. This, of course, led to centuries of plunder.
After the Kalinga War, we never achieved a system that would match up to the aggression against Indian civilization. The unnecessarily defensive regime would give way to Islamic conquest, and Islamic conquest would give way to the British Raj. Needless to mention, the social thinkers and commoners also became timid about their own civilization.
Britishers made us believe that we were misogynist and archaic. Some of our most celebrated social thinkers relentlessly promoted British education as a panacea. As I told you, everything is about civilization. Every successive regime shamed anyone who tried to stand up for civilizational pride.
British era gave way for the Nehruvian era of @INCIndia. India's political leadership again ordained that India would adopt strategic restraint. China entered our territory. So, India's first Prime Minister said, "not a blade of grass grows" in those barren mountains. Of course, no one in the intellectual lobby protested. Nehru was doing what they wanted him to do. Be magnanimous to the extent of being self- harming.
Nehru was only continuing what started with the Kalinga war. Then came Indira. She suffered the Prithviraj syndrome. Won the 1971 war but gave away the exploits in Shimla Agreement. Pak turned another Mohd. Ghori. ISI came up with a doctrine - Bleed India through a Thousand Cuts.
This doesn't end here. Vajpayee faced the wrath of the ecosystem for many reasons. The only thing they don't criticize him for is not crossing the LoC during the 1999 Kargil war. This is again a manifestation of extreme generosity. Pak could cross the LoC but India would not. The Parliament attack happened, we didn't retaliate. Operation Parakram never materialized into anything.
Few years later, 26/11 happened. But India's then PM Manmohan Singh chose "strategic restraint". No one in a powerful lobby criticized him. As long as you don't go beyond the Lakshman Rekha that has been drawn by centuries of timidity, no one will rebuke you.
