@WallbankRuth #nihralpwa I knew nothing about clinical research as an undergraduate. I thought that clinical research was only carried out by large CROs based in the south. I worked in academic research for years with academics and medics but still wasn't aware of the NIHR portfolio!

@WallbankRuth @kimshirley1 @JanetTomlinson1 #nihralpwa not necessarily more integration or visibility but it was good to get recognised for the work I was doing. Far too often a consultant would put their name to the study and do absolutely nothing but sign the delegation log!

@john_castledine A3 We have had big restructure in our team and I plan to step out of my comfort zone and stop defaulting to my favoured bits of the workload. Might be less effective to start with but in the long run it should benefit everyone! #nihralp17
