Day 9 of #Sebaashray2 in Metiaburuz was a powerful reminder of what healthcare rooted in compassion can achieve. From the first light of morning, residents arrived with hope, and the teams were ready to meet every need with care, patience, and respect.
Every person who walked in received comprehensive support, free health camps welcomed all, essential medicines were distributed without charge. On-site diagnostic testing ensured immediate detection of health issues, while advanced referral services connected patients with specialised care seamlessly.
The registration process was simplified for each individual, and real-time digital monitoring maintained complete transparency, making access effortless and efficient. Families left with not just treatment, but clarity, confidence, and renewed trust in the system.
Sebaashray 2 continues to demonstrate that healthcare is not just about medicine, it is about restoring dignity, building trust, and showing that service delivered with compassion can transform lives.
.@BJP4India’s problem with Bengal is not political. It is civilisational. They simply do not understand how this land remembers, honours, or speaks of its giants.
In Bengal, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay is not a name to be casually invoked for applause lines. He is Rishi Bankim, a towering luminary whose words awakened a nation in chains. His legacy is approached with reverence, restraint, and humility.
That is precisely what was missing when @narendramodi chose to address him as “Bankim da.” This suffix was not a slip of the tongue; it was proof of a deeper disconnect. This is what happens when those who lack roots in a culture try to cosplay intimacy with it. They mimic the surface, butcher the substance, and insult what they claim to honour.
Bengal does not need performative gestures from people who have repeatedly demeaned its thinkers, distorted its history, and attacked its plural soul. You cannot fake cultural literacy. And Bengal recognises impostors instantly.
Wherever life is valued, care must follow.
Day 5 of Sebaashray 2 reflected this truth in every camp across Maheshtala. What we witnessed today was not just service delivery, but the quiet transformation that happens when people receive timely, attentive, and compassionate healthcare.
A timely checkup, a clear diagnosis, a necessary referral, or even a simple conversation with a worried patient can prevent complications and restore confidence. These small interventions accumulate into something larger: a system people can depend on.
#Sebaashray2 is more than a series of healthcare camps; it is a coordinated, evolving effort to make care accessible, organised, and responsive to real needs. With each passing day, the initiative is becoming stronger and more rooted in the communities it serves.
Service is a continuous moral commitment, a solemn pledge to stand beside every individual who seeks support, dignity, and care. Sebaashray was conceived on this very conviction. What began in Diamond Harbour as an experiment in compassionate governance has, today, grown into a model of people-centric public service.
On Day 5 of Sebaashray 2, that commitment has only deepened. The numbers tell a story, but behind each statistic stands a human life touched, reassured, and protected:
👉 7,736 citizens walked into our camps, each one welcomed as a person deserving attention, empathy, and respect.
👉 4,831 diagnostic tests were conducted, ensuring early detection and preventive care.
👉 4,738 individuals received essential medicines free of cost, a powerful intervention that eases financial burden for thousands of families.
👉 195 patients were referred for specialised, advanced treatment, because no one should be denied the chance to heal simply due to circumstance or geography.
#Sebaashray2 is a reaffirmation of what public service must truly be: PROACTIVE, HUMANE, and unconditionally ACCESSIBLE. It stands as a testament to our belief that governance is at its best when it reaches the last person first. As this journey continues, one truth remains immutable, that wherever a need arises, Sebaashray will stand as a pillar of support.
মানবসেবাই পরম ধর্ম।
This guiding truth has always been the soul of Sebaashray, a mission that transformed compassion into action, created a space where care became real, and ensured that every individual felt seen, heard, and supported.
With Sebaashray 2, a new chapter begins, one shaped not just by our commitment, but by the unshakable trust people place in us. It is their faith, their warmth, their belief in our work that keeps us moving forward, strengthening our resolve to deliver healthcare that is humane, accessible, and dignified.
At #Sebaashray2, our mission remains clear and unwavering: service without pause, care without compromise, and hope without end.
After the resounding success of our first edition, we have now launched #Sebaashray2, a renewed commitment to bring healthcare to every doorstep, every community, and every individual who needs it most.
This mission is guided by a single, unwavering principle: service above self, citizens above politics. Every interaction, every dose of medicine, every step taken to connect someone to specialist care is a pledge that governance can be empathetic, forward-looking, and inseparable from the lived realities of the people.
With Sebaashray 2, we are not just delivering healthcare; we are reshaping how care reaches the citizen, building a model that is replicable, sustainable, and driven by humanity at its core.
Over the past fourteen and a half years, Bengal has travelled a long and determined path shaped by the trust of our people and the conviction that development must reach every household, every neighbourhood, every region, and every corner of our state. Today, as we launch Unnayoner Panchali, we are presenting the collective journey of a people who chose progress over prejudice, humanity over hostility, and unity over divisiveness.
This report card reflects a model of development rooted in social security, women empowerment, economic growth, and transparent delivery of public services. From expanding access to health and education, to strengthening rural livelihoods, to creating new opportunities for the youth, each initiative represents a clear, consistent intent that Bengal’s progress must be broad-based, equitable and sustainable.
Our State Government has always believed that public welfare cannot be compromised by political expediency. Despite the Centre withholding Bengal’s dues out of sheer vindictiveness, we have ensured that people’s rights and entitlements are protected. Whether through Lakshmir Bhandar, Kanyashree, Swasthya Sathi, Khadyasathi, Krishak Bandhu, Duare Sarkar, Karmashree, Banglar Bari, or the countless other schemes, our priority has remained to safeguard the future of our people and strengthen the foundation of this state.
Rooted in Bengal’s soil, language, and cultural consciousness, the Panchali form has always carried our shared memory and heritage. In this modern Panchali, every verse echoes the transformative journey of our Maa, Mati, Manush. I convey my heartfelt gratitude to Smt. Iman Chakraborty for her soulful rendition. As we look ahead, we do so with confidence and clarity. We have laid a strong foundation. We have shown what people-centric governance can achieve.
To the people of Bengal, I express my deepest gratitude. Your blessings and affection have been our greatest strength and the driving force behind every step of progress. Together, we will continue to write new chapters of growth, equality and hope that reverberate for decades to come.
.@BJP4India’s contempt for Bengal is no secret, they despise our language, our culture, and our identity, yet their hunger to capture this state refuses to die down.
But against the resolve of Smt. @Mamataofficial, their entire hate project collapses.
And here is the truth they refuse to hear: The BJP is not just losing Bengal. They are on track to lose Gujarat as well.
Their own model state is slipping away, their authority is cracking, and their arrogance has pushed them into political freefall.
No matter how loudly the BJP dreams, Bengal is beyond their reach and soon, the country will be too.
The Election Commission is deliberately planting selective leaks to falsely claim that they have provided a point-by-point rebuttal to the issues raised by the AITC delegation today. These assertions are not just misleading, they are OUTRIGHT LIES. If the EC truly has nothing to hide and actually believes in transparency, then instead of hiding behind motivated leaks, it must immediately release the full CCTV footage and every piece of evidence it claims to possess. Anything less only exposes their bad faith and raises serious questions about their intent.
And let me add this clearly: A few hours will always be too short , take as many days as you want to answer the five basic questions we placed before you.
We have ENOUGH DIGITAL EVIDENCE to prove how your narrative is being distorted through planted, fabricated leaks. So THINK TWICE before you choose to pick a fight with West Bengal and @AITCofficial .
I understand your frustration, Mr. SIR, but facts do not bend to convenience. If energy is available for planting stories, surely it can be redirected to answering the five simple questions.
Your Time starts NOW!
Happy to share that under our Student Credit Card Scheme, the number of sanctioned cases has crossed today the landmark figure of 1,00,000.
In this flagship scheme of our Government, the students are provided education loan up to Rs 10 lakh at a very nominal interest rate. The interest subvention/ subsidy amount is entirely borne by the State Government.

Wish all our students a very prosperous future!
Yesterday, following the devastating storm in Jalpaiguri-Mainaguri, Smt. @MamataOfficial hurriedly rushed to the affected area.
There, she spoke with the families of the victims, visited the injured at the local hospital and assured all possible assistance from the GoWB to those grappling with the after-effects of this unforeseen calamity.
She is a one-of-a-kind leader and it is her unmatched dedication to the Ma, Mati, Manush of Bengal that truly sets her apart!
