@TPLINKUK Sorry I don't think I made myself clear enough! I meant the mac (BSSID) address of each bandwidth (2.4G, 5G and 6G) Of each router/AP? Not the individual clients using each router/AP. (We have an Archer axe75 & the deco ax1500 3 pack.) How do I locate that info please? Thanks π

@TPLINKUK hi there, sorry, its me again. So our set up is bt sh2 acting as a modem (and digital phone line) the Archer is plugged into the sh2 (sh2 has WiFi turned off so it doesn't broadcast a hotspot) the Archer is in router mode. One of the decos is ethernet connected into
@TPLINKUK Thank you. Thanks for forwarding feedback too, great to hear! I will have a look at that link too thanks. Sorry, just another quick question: how do I find the mac address of each bandwidth on the products? It would be really helpful to know this info. Haven't found it yet! π
@TPLINKUK would not be as tight as it would be on the Archer. Do I just have to keep hitting the not now button on the deco app with regards to the subscription pop up? Incidentally, what products would work better with the Archer as a mesh system please? Just curious! π€ π€
@TPLINKUK Thank you. I just needed to double check as the previous reply from yourselves said that because the decos are in AP mode, not all of the advanced features like parental control, antivirus etc would be available in the deco app. My concern meant I was worried that security 1/2
@TPLINKUK through to the deco system as they are on the same network? I'm guessing we can't have the decos as a router too(even with the same ssid&p/w as root router) as that may cause issues? Hence why we have to put them as AP's. Or could we put ethernet attached deco as a router too?2/2
@TPLINKUK TY . Can I just ask does that mean anything that is connected on the Deco device wise, won't then be protected by the total security package features & also does that mean that there are vulnerabilities in the system? Does the π« of certain devices on root router still filter 1/2
@TPLINKUK the Archer & will it apply it to the decos only?&does the fact that decos are in AP mode mean I can't put anything on the block list on the decos? The decos don't show all the blocked list that the Archer has currently. The extras on the homesheild aren't available on the decos.π
@TPLINKUK Thank you, this is helpful. What do I do with the message that keeps popping up on our deco app about applying the total security package ?I don't want to hit the apply to network button as it brings up the deco mac address (which is in AP mode) as surely that will take it off 1/2

@TPLINKUK Hi there. Yes, could you possibly read the succession of posts, starting with the one you replied to and see if you can answer these questions and confirm please? Thankvyou ever so much. Have a wonderful day π

Total security package as when I go into the deco app it keeps asking me about applying the subscription, but I'm concerned that will then take the subscription off the Archer and apply it to the decos instead. Sorry I know that's a lot of questions in one go! π«£π€¦ββοΈπ€·ββοΈππ€
filter/apply to the decos too as they are all under the same SSID &p/w ? Also I am assuming that because the decos are APs that I cannot create entries on a block list? Can I only apply the total security package to the main Archer router or can the decos also be under the same
@TPLINKUK Thank you! It's a case of having to still use the SH2 because of the digital voice unfortunately, otherwise, we'd just solely use the new tplink. Thank you again for the reply! π have a lovely week. π
@TPLINKUK I'm just RT this, just in case you'd not seen it. π€·ββοΈ it's got 3 tweets in total to it, please could you take a look at it & hopefully be able to answer? Thank you in advance! π
@TPLINKUK we've recently purchased (still in box!) an Archer AXE75 and Deco AX1500. We are with BT & have a SH2. We need to ensure the SH2 still runs as it has digital voice attached for our landline, but the rest of the Internet stuff we'd prefer on the tplink products. Can you
@TPLINKUK Thank you for the reply! We definitely want to be able to use all the functions on the tplink if we can. My hubby said to keep SH2 in place, plug tplink into that & once up & running, turn off the wifi on the bt hub. He's fairly savvy on tech stuff imho.π that would work ok? π
