@Schoen_xyz Agree to all of these. And they have to figure out the mobile UI & Connectivity issues. I get that most serious players have a set up but in 2026 you better figure out how to carry the load on smart phones.
although im a PumpFun affiliate, i think its very important to point out things that PumpFun can do better & provide constructive criticism so i put together a list of a couple of things i believe need improvement
1) sentiment & alignment via $pump allocation
to be completely honest i think this one point could account for 99% of all current PumpFun issues
essentially i believe that all the negative sentiment around PumpFun arises from the fact that none of their core users have upside in their business performing well
we’ve seen it countless times in the past 2 months, if users hold a launchpad token, they become aligned and encourage trading activity of those eco tokens naturally
the reason Pons, Stonk, and Paid had success is because top trenchers were able to acquire a meaningful % of the supply
their alignment ensured loyalty and turned their users into diehard martyrs of the ecosystem
most of pump’s core users purchase coins in the $10k mcap range, so it’s understandable to assume they’d have no intention to purchase a $4B token
but if instead they were handed tokens, those who believe in the business model may decide to hold it and therefore become more of a loyal customer
i am of the opinion that the sooner the airdrop the better, to be quite honest im not really sure whats the hold up
if the concern is “save the bullets for a rainy day” id argue you can do an airdrop of 25% and still have a lot of tokens left
id also argue if you think from a pure business / token valuation standpoint that even though you are unlocking potential sell pressure, its a +EV move
with the barrier to entry from bridging declining we’re seeing the moats to launchpads dwindle. if you align your customers with allo than you’ll have better sentiment + more loyal customers that will bring you higher profits in the long run
but forget the airdrop for now, if you want to get $pump into trader’s hands why not just send out callout rewards in $pump?
this money is coming from revenue. you could literally just buy up $pump and distribute it. even if people sell it, it’s mathematically positive inflows regardless
2) innovation & experimentation
personally id like to see pump experiment & be a first mover rather than playing defensively
there was a period where new fee methods were unpopular and I believe this is why they slowed down on updates
but i think the fact that stock pairs took off and were so popular proves that there is room for evolution in memecoins + that negative sentiment arose from pump hatred + bear market prices
think pump should shorten their cycles for how long they experiment for
introduce new updates more often, if they’re utter shit then roll them back in a couple days to a couple weeks
eventually one of them will create the excitement that CCM or stock pairs brought to the market & spur activity
think custom pairs are a good example of trying something new, interested to see how that update plays out
3) higher ceilings
tbh I don’t have a concrete resolution for this one, but it is a bit frustrating how low ceilings are on pump
the fact that we had multiple 50m+ & 2 9 fig runners on stonk & long proves to me that their is liquidity in the market to spawn these runners
glass full foundation was very popular, feels like that could be something that gets brought back & helps push ceilings further
4) cross chain swaps
trading cross chain & terminal + PF app was pretty difficult during rhood meta
think that has technical limitations with Relay, but when i used fomo I didn’t have many issues with these swaps
thankfully trenchers returned to SOL for now, but should be a top priority to fix before activity inevitably rises on a different chain

Who here does mayhem mode on pump? If you have an iPhone, have you been having issues lately? All the comments in feedback will be greatly appreciated.
In light of my battles with https://t.co/z9eCJmCh1w over the last couple days and their continuous failures at solving problems I have started a new initiative. M.P.G.A 📣‼️⚠️
