My Terry Compendium entry.
Something between a guide and collection of useful and not so useful info in a much more organized format than what Twitter/Discord/Docs allows.
Updates are coming whenever I get motivated enough.

Coach Ramses Tip: A-lands are ruining your advantage state. Let's counter them!
A-lands are becoming more prominent. While you can just play RPS, a complete approach involves understanding advantage state & pressure.
🧵 Let's start from the beginning: Why do a-lands work?
Training Modpack version 6.0 is now released! Finally, we have Input Recording with tons of options, FGC-style Input Display, an auto-updater, customizable button configurations, and SO much more in bugfixes and QoL improvements. Thanks as always for sharing!
Ledgejump into delayed waveland is underutilized vs reaction ledgetraps.
If the opponent telegraphs their intentions to react to any ledge movement, you can avoid both their grounded and aerial response.
Beware of preemptive coverage and them specifically looking for this option.
Yoshi Nair OoS and his shield counterplay are strong options, but not a true 50/50 mixup due to startup difference. Sequence shield→jump/roll to defend against both. You can even option select for punishes by having shieldstun eat the jump/roll input. Look out for timing mixups.
I've talked about it a lot on my channel, but the reality is that competition doesn't just test your skill at the game. It tests so much more, plus the inherent variance in Smash is insane.
It's a hard thing to deal with. The balance between caring enough to want to compete (1/2)
Hi all, Training Modpack v5.1.1 is now released! This includes some major bugfixes to the menu that you may have run into on latest for save state slots and random damage. Install it the same way as usual-- thanks for being patient with these bugs.

Training Modpack version 5.1 is now released! I wanted to get this out there as soon as possible as there were a couple of glaring bugs that are now fixed; save state slots have moved to the menu for easier use, and some effects failing to show up outside training mode has been patched.
Furthermore, with save state slots in the menu, you can now randomize among the slots to practice different scenarios!
Training Modpack version 5.0 is here! Loads of new features including save state slots, mash trigger configuration, random damage for save states, and much more in addition to bugfixes. Thanks as always for sharing!

Sample video below
@SilverHushpuppy@LDarkstalker You can see Wolf mashing bair, a f13 move, in that clip.
Dthrow uair/Nair barely connects and those are a lot faster than dair
Finally got a working input display again (although 1 frame inputs are sometimes missed).
Here's some Kazuya techniques on Smash Box using the power of modifiers.

Hit-confirming with Terry has never been more easy if you apply this simple but effective tech:
The Z-Option Select

I created a document on how to perform better on tournament days

Give it a RT, every competitor should know about this stuff
Also if you got any additional interesting notes, let me know in the replies ✌️
Here is the base setup for my smash box Kazuya layout. Just these few buttons are what I use to Electric, CD/CDC, DGF and more. Below shows the buttons and values used for this. Remaining buttons are preference and the remaining values can be what is already there/prefer as well.
Terry D-Tilt -> nair/IDJ nair Combo Concepts
Starts working at the same percents as D-Tilt Up Tilt (if hitboxes connect) and works early enough against chars with 4-frame air dodges to go for bigger combo extensions and earlier stocks.
(All vs DI Out mash Air Dodge)

A technique that uses Smash Box's Mode modifier and Smash's Negative Edge to consistently perform a perfect DTilt into Buster Wolf Cancel.

Another trap you can do after FTilt on shield is to use DTilt's F1 hurtbox shift.
It will whiff most grabs and even low profile some aerials OoS while also allowing for frame traps on shield hold with cancels.
Similarily you can use also use USmash if they don't hold

A bit late, but Terry also has a setup and you don't even need to space it.
Against most of the cast you don't even need to tilt.
Just make sure that you retract your leg by shielding.
Jab1 and DTilt can also be made a bit safer, but they will require spacing.
