Og det ryster mig virkelig…

I går aftes, da jeg sad og så 19-nyhederne på TV2, var jeg lige ved at få aftensmaden galt i halsen.

Undervejs i udsendelsen omstiller TV2 nemlig til en af deres reportere i Berlin, der påstår, at det tyske folk hun har talt med, giver det tyske højrefløjsparti AfD skylden for at puste til had mod forskellige samfundsgrupper, som skulle være en af årsagerne til terrorangrebet.

TV2 vinkel på tragedien i Berlin er altså, at det er højrefløjens skyld.

Det er jo fuldstændig vanvittig dækning af et muslimsk terrorangreb mod Vesten. Særligt fordi det jo netop er højrefløjen, der igen og igen og igen advarer mod netop muslimsk indvandring.

Og hvad i alverden er det lige, der foregår på TV2?

For blot et par uger siden, klippede de væk fra en gruppe muslimske piger, som grinte og nægtede at rejse sig op under et minuts stilhed for den svenske familiefar, Christian Zedig, som blev slået ihjel af en udlænding på Islands Brygge.

Dengang tog jeg selvfølgelig sagen op mod TV2, og det resulterede i, at de lagde sig fladt ned og indrømmede, at de havde begået en fejl.

Men hvad nytter tomme undskyldninger, når man ikke lærer af dem?

Og når de blot et par uger senere bidrager til den løgnagtige fortælling om, at det skulle være højrefløjen, der får muslimske terrorister til at slå homoseksuelle ihjel.

Jeg tager sagen op. Det kan jeg godt love jer for.

For TV2 skal under ingen omstændigheder slippe afsted med at vinkle islamisk terror mod Vesten som højrefløjens skyld.

This is very worth reading because it beautifully lays out the faulty thinking that has given us suicidal economic policy that has also made no impact on climate change whatsoever.

Characteristically, it pretends that those who oppose Net Zero do so because they deny that the climate is changing (no one sensible does), that outsourcing our emissions to poor countries, an accounting trick, is somehow green (it's not) and, most importantly, challenges the argument that the overwhelming majority of carbon emissions produced in the world today are emitted by countries that care about economic growth way more than they care about "saving the planet" (China, India etc) by citing Kenya whose entire annual emissions are roughly equivalent to what China emits in about 8 hours.

The hoax is not climate change. The hoax is that we can stop it by making ourselves poorer.

Achtunddreißig Milliarden Euro, die der deutsche Steuerzahler möglicherweise nach Brüssel, Madrid und anderswohin überweisen darf – nicht etwa für Straßen, Schulen oder eine funktionierende Bahn, sondern als Strafe dafür, dass dieses Land selbstgesteckte, planwirtschaftliche Klimaziele verfehlt. Ziele, die von Anfang an unrealistisch waren, die niemand ernsthaft durchgerechnet hat und für deren Verfehlung nun ausgerechnet jene zur Kasse gebeten werden, die an diesem Irrsinn am wenigsten Schuld tragen: die Bürger.

Man muss sich die Konstruktion dieser Falle einmal in Ruhe ansehen, um das ganze Ausmaß des politischen Versagens zu begreifen. 2018 verhandelte die Große Koalition in Brüssel die sogenannte Effort Sharing Regulation, die EU-Klimaschutzverordnung. Federführend: Svenja Schulze und Peter Altmaier. Das klang damals nach technokratischem Kleinkram, nach einem weiteren dieser Brüsseler Papiere, die kein Mensch liest. Tatsächlich wurde dort ein Mechanismus geschaffen, der jedem EU-Land ein verbindliches CO₂-Budget für die Sektoren außerhalb des Emissionshandels zuteilt – also vor allem für Verkehr und Gebäude. Wer sein Budget reißt, muss Verschmutzungsrechte von Ländern kaufen, die ihre Ziele übererfüllen. Im Klartext: Deutschland finanziert dann die Staatshaushalte von Spanien, Griechenland oder Bulgarien. Nicht als Investition, nicht als Kredit – als Strafzahlung. Verloren, versenkt, weg.

Und wer hat diese Falle unterschrieben? Eine unionsgeführte Bundesregierung. Dieselbe Union, die heute gerne so tut, als sei die Klimapolitik ein rot-grünes Projekt, das man selbst nur widerwillig ertragen habe. Nein, meine Damen und Herren: Das Fundament dieses Milliardengrabs haben Sie gegossen. Merkel, Altmaier, Schulze – das war die Große Koalition in Reinform: keine Ahnung von den Konsequenzen, aber Hauptsache auf internationalen Konferenzen als Musterschüler dastehen.

Dann kam die Ampel, und was macht sie? Sie verschärft den Mechanismus 2023 im Rahmen des „Fit for 55“-Pakets noch einmal drastisch – und schaltet parallel dazu die letzten Kernkraftwerke ab. Man muss sich diese Gleichzeitigkeit auf der Zunge zergehen lassen: Ein Land verpflichtet sich zu radikalen Emissionssenkungen und nimmt im selben Atemzug seine größte verlässliche CO₂-freie Stromquelle vom Netz. Aus ideologischer Prinzipienreiterei. Das ist keine Politik mehr, das ist Realitätsverweigerung mit Ansage. Robert Habeck und Olaf Scholz haben sehenden Auges Verpflichtungen unterschrieben, von denen jeder halbwegs rechenfähige Beamte im Wirtschaftsministerium wusste, dass Deutschland sie niemals einhalten wird. Der Verkehrssektor reißt seine Ziele seit Jahren zuverlässig, der Gebäudesektor ebenso – daran hat auch Habecks Heizungsgesetz nichts geändert, außer dass es Millionen Bürger verunsichert und die Wärmepumpenbranche erst in einen künstlichen Boom und dann in die Krise gestürzt hat.

Das Perfide an der Sache: Diese Strafzahlungen sind kein Naturgesetz. Sie sind das Ergebnis bewusster politischer Entscheidungen, getroffen von Leuten, die längst nicht mehr im Amt sind oder es sich in Versorgungsposten bequem gemacht haben. Svenja Schulze durfte danach als Entwicklungsministerin weiterwirken, Peter Altmaier genießt seinen Ruhestand, Habeck philosophiert über die Zumutungen der Politik. Die Rechnung aber landet beim Facharbeiter, bei der Krankenschwester, beim Mittelständler – bei Menschen, die nie gefragt wurden, ob sie mit ihren Steuern die Haushalte anderer EU-Staaten sanieren wollen.

Und was für ein Signal sendet dieser Mechanismus eigentlich innerhalb der EU? Länder, denen großzügigere Budgets zugestanden wurden oder die schlicht weniger ambitionierte Ziele haben, kassieren ab. Deutschland, das sich in jahrzehntelanger moralischer Selbstüberhöhung immer die strengsten Vorgaben ans eigene Bein gebunden hat, zahlt drauf. Das ist keine europäische Solidarität, das ist ein Umverteilungsautomat zulasten des größten Nettozahlers. Wieder einmal. Man fragt sich ernsthaft, welches Land außer Deutschland sich freiwillig eine solche Konstruktion antun würde – und die Antwort ist: keines. Andere Regierungen verhandeln hart für nationale Interessen. Deutsche Regierungen verhandeln hart gegen die eigenen.

Dabei wäre es gar nicht so schwer gewesen. Man hätte 2018 realistische Budgets aushandeln können. Man hätte 2023 auf die Bremse treten können, statt bei „Fit for 55“ brav zu nicken. Man hätte die Kernkraftwerke laufen lassen können, die pro Jahr Millionen Tonnen CO₂ eingespart hätten. Man hätte auf Technologieoffenheit statt auf Verbotspolitik setzen können. Nichts davon ist geschehen. Stattdessen wurde ein Land, das ohnehin unter Rekordabgaben, Energiepreisen auf Weltspitzenniveau und einer schrumpfenden Industrie ächzt, in eine Vertragsfalle manövriert, aus der es nun kaum noch herauskommt.

Die aktuelle Bundesregierung wird jetzt versuchen, in Brüssel nachzuverhandeln, Flexibilitäten zu nutzen, die Zahlen kleinzureden. Vielleicht werden es am Ende keine 38 Milliarden, sondern „nur“ 15 oder 20. Aber jede einzelne Milliarde ist eine Milliarde zu viel – eine Milliarde für nichts, für null Grad weniger Erderwärmung, für keinen einzigen gedämmten Altbau, für kein einziges neues Kraftwerk. Reine Strafzahlung für politisches Wunschdenken.

Wer wissen will, warum das Vertrauen in die etablierte Politik erodiert, findet hier die Antwort in Reinkultur: Eine politische Klasse beschließt in Hinterzimmern Verpflichtungen, deren Konsequenzen sie entweder nicht versteht oder billigend in Kauf nimmt, und wenn die Rechnung kommt, ist niemand verantwortlich. Die Zeche zahlt der Bürger. Es wird höchste Zeit, dass diese Art von Politik ein Ende findet – und dass diejenigen, die solche Milliardenfallen aufstellen, dafür wenigstens politisch zur Rechenschaft gezogen werden.

Das ist kein Rechenfehler. Jeder zusätzlich verdiente Euro zieht Wohngeld, Kinderzuschlag und Freibeträge mit sich in den Abgrund, während Steuern und Sozialabgaben gleichzeitig steigen.

Man nennt es Transferentzugsrate. Ökonomen kennen das Problem seit Jahren. Die Bundesregierung hat Gutachten dazu bestellt.

Passiert ist nichts.

Und dann wundert sich die Politik, warum niemand mehr die Stunden aufstockt. Warum die Zweitverdienerin in Teilzeit bleibt. Warum der Facharbeiter die Beförderung ablehnt.

Die Leute sind nicht faul. Sie rechnen.

Ein System, das Anstrengung und Fleiß nicht belohnt, bekommt am Ende genau das: keine Anstrengung.

Hintergrund: Klimaschwindler halten das kleine Beinchen ganz rechts für ihren „Hockeystick”. Dafür reicht die Auflösung aber nicht; es geht vielmehr um die Erwärmung seit der letzten Eiszeit.

Die Grafik zeigt natürliche Temperaturänderungen in einer Spanne von über 20°. Teilweise, etwa in der Jüngeren Dryas vor knapp 12.000 Jahren, stieg die Temperatur viel rascher als heutzutage.

Amazing things are being revealed about the Berlin Christopher Street Day attack suspect. All infos are of course still provisional.

His name is Abdul Bellout, and he was born in Germany and is a German citizen of Lebanese descent. Germany has a large Lebanese community thanks for refugees who arrived in the 1980s during the Lebanese civil war and ensuing chain migration. There are many Lebanese crime families all across Germany, it's unknown whether Bellout was part of one of them, but authorities are looking into the issue.

He is 21 and has a long criminal record including extortion and assault. He was most recently convicted for "preparing a terrorist attack, attempt by means of encouragement or threat" under German Penal Code §89a. He was sentenced under youth sentencing law despite being an adult, which is common in Germany. Apparently he boasted of having contacts to ISIS. The US State department warned in 2024 about possible ISIS attacks on gay-themed events in Europe.

Bellout was released in May 2026 from youth prison. Under the terms of his parole, he was required to attend 26 "counseling sessions" with the "Counseling Group on Deradicalization and Extremism Prevention". He had gone to two of them, during which employees said his answers appeared calculated and insincere.

He was due to attend his third "counseling session" tomorrow.

Author Adriani Relandi was a geographer, cartographer, traveler, philologist.
He understood many languages, including Arabic, Ancient Greek and Hebrew.
He described nearly 2,500 settlements mentioned in the Bible, and made an approximate census according to settlements.

His notes;

1. Palestine is mostly empty, abandoned, sparsely populated. The main population is concentrated in Jerusalem, Akko, Tsfat, Jaffa, Tveria and Gaza.

2. The majority of the population is Jewish; almost everyone else is Christian. A very small part is Muslim, mostly Bedouin...
(Relandi refers to Muslims as nomadic Bedouins who come to cities only as seasonal workers in agriculture or construction.)

3. The only exception is Nablus, inhabited by about 120 members of the Muslim Natsha family and approximately 70 Samaritans.

4. About 5,000 people live in Jerusalem; almost all Jews, and a few Christians.

5. The names of most of the settlements are of Jewish origin, and some have Greek or Roman Latin names. Apart from the city of Ramla, there is no Arab settlement whose original name is Arabic.
Place names derived from Jewish, Greek or Latin are usually adapted into Arabic and meaningless...

6. Approximately 550 people live in Gaza, half of whom are Jews and half are Christians.

Elon Musk was called a racist on camera by the editor-in-chief of The Economist.

An accusation that serious should have come with proof. Hers came from no one.

Zanny Minton Beddoes: “People say that you’re a racist.”

People say.

No evidence. No incident. No source. No name.

“People say” removes the journalist’s fingerprints from the accusation. Nothing to verify. No one to hold accountable.

A label laundered through a question so it can never be traced back to a fact.

Musk: “My partner is half Indian. I have four children with her. One of them was named after a famous Indian physicist. If you look at the people employed at my companies, we have senior executives of all races.”

The accusation cost nothing to make. The defense required a man to put his own family on the table.

Then she moved on. No pause. Not one word of his answer made it into the next question.

Beddoes: “Are you anti-Muslim?”

The first accusation was still on the ground. The next was already in the air.

Musk: “I’m against people coming to a country with antithetical views. I’m against rape and murder. I’m against the imposition of rules and laws that are contrary to what we’ve come to accept in the West.”

He answered with positions no functioning society disputes. The only way to make them sound like bigotry was to attach a religion to the people he was describing.

That isn’t journalism. It’s a trap where the question does the accusing and the answer does the rest.

Musk: “I think it’s a crying shame that the traditional media, like you, don’t recognize this.”

To her face. To the editor-in-chief of one of the most powerful publications on Earth.

When a man has to prove he isn’t a racist by naming his own children, then defend himself for opposing rape and murder, the labels have stopped describing the world. They’ve started building one.

The accusation was never meant to be true. It was meant to be answered.

Because the moment you’re defending yourself against a label, the label has already done its work. And when no answer can acquit you, you were never being accused. You were being sentenced.

The presumption of innocence was never a description of how people think. It was a wall built against it. Four centuries putting it up. A decade taking it down.

Musk didn’t accept the frame. He answered with facts and let the accusations collapse on contact, then told the person holding the microphone that she was the problem.

The weapon only works on people who flinch. He didn’t.

And the accusation that came from no one finally had a name on it. Hers.

I watched Elon Musk’s interview with The Economist and heard him claim 250,000 girls were systematically raped by grooming gangs in the UK. It sounded too monstrous to be real, so I did what I always do. I went to check the receipts myself.

I wish I hadn’t. It is worse than the number.

A warning first. If this kind of thing enrages you, if you have children, if you do not have the stomach for it today, stop reading here. You do not have to carry it.

Honesty first, because I do not post numbers I cannot defend. The 250,000 figure is not a documented count. It is an extrapolation scaled up from local cases. Here is the hard truth though: it might be accurate, and it might even be low. Nobody can say, because there has never been a full national audit or an investigation of every town. The number is unproven precisely because the country has refused to go looking for it. That refusal is its own answer.

Here is what the government’s investigations did find. The 2014 Jay Report: in Rotherham alone, at least 1,400 children sexually exploited over sixteen years, and that was the conservative estimate. Baroness Casey’s 2025 national audit confirmed the same pattern across Rochdale, Oxford, Oldham, Telford. Nearly 19,000 children flagged as exploitation victims in England in a single year. The Met is re-examining 9,000 cases. No one knows the true total, because for decades the people paid to count deliberately did not.

Both reports found the convicted offenders in these networks were Pakistani Muslim men. And officials avoided recording that fact out of fear of being called racist. Let that land. They stayed silent about who was doing it because they feared an accusation more than they feared the abuse. Girls as young as eleven were written off as troubled teenagers making lifestyle choices. The system did not fail to see it. It chose not to look.

Then the punishment. Some got what Britain calls serious sentences. Shabir Ahmed, the Rochdale ringleader, 22 years for 30 counts of child rape. Others 35. In much of America a single count could mean life. There, 30 counts draws 22 years, and then they let you out early.

Ahmed served 14 years and walked free this July, shielded from the deportation his victims were promised by a 1971 immigration loophole. Several offenders held dual British-Pakistani citizenship, which is exactly why removal was promised and exactly why the failure to deliver it is so damning. Qari Abdul Rauf served two and a half years of six and is still in Rochdale, seen shopping in the town where he abused children. Adil Khan, who impregnated a 13-year-old, called his case racist and a laughing matter in court and argued he should stay because his son needs a role model.

And the coldest part. For years the trouble was not the abuse. It was talking about it. Britain’s speech laws have only tightened since, with people jailed over social media posts, one woman handed 31 months for a single tweet. A nation that struggled for a decade to jail child rapists moves overnight to jail citizens for the wrong words online.

That is the whole sickness. Rape a child and you may serve half a soft sentence and stroll home. Post the wrong thing about it and the state finds its spine.

So make the sentences serious and mean it. Deport who can be deported. Protect the people exposing this, not the institutions that buried it. And count them. Every town, every case, no matter what the number turns out to be.

Failed by their abusers, the councils, the police, the courts, and a state more offended by a tweet than by their suffering. Every betrayal preventable.

These are children. Say it out loud, whatever it costs, because the silence is what let it happen.

Thank you, Elon, for the reminder that when something sounds too awful to be true, the only responsible thing is to go check the receipts yourself. The number was unproven. What sat underneath it was worse. 🦋
