@theMariyaMiran Imagine a game where you're meant to be a hunter-killer RPG team dedicated solely to killing mechs in an urban environment and half the gameplay is oriented around just getting good positioning and either leading the target into the killzone or finding juuuuuust the right angle
@theMariyaMiran I'd be so down for a campaign like that; /tg/ always ends up coming up with cool shit, just for the fun of it. Least, they used to. There's the occasional good thread every once in a while, though.
@theMariyaMiran Once upon a time, I was one of these people. Now being one who finds it hard to get a good job going, I now know the truth. At least I can still pretend I'm piloting a big mech stomping through shitty establishments in revenge.
@tmp6bf@AnimarchyYT This is true; even if it weren't though, the challenge would stay the same, but now the perpetrators in question are just basically suicidal in their actions. It doesn't change the plan, just how it'd actually go down. Which sucks because now it's non-immersive in some cases.
@AnimarchyYT The tactical challenge is "how do I do this without killing them and preventing any of my men going down as well?" Details in the actual PD section of the game give creedence to prioritization of life, lawful use of force, etc, all real life considerations we make. Sry for ramble
@AnimarchyYT Supposed to go in because their is potential harm in these actions they take against other people. We apprehend them with as little loss to life and limb as possible so that they can be justly tried in the court of law. We never want to kill but that's what the situation turns to
@theMariyaMiran Color me surprised, I put in Canopus because I thought everyone was gonna go Concordat lol. Welp, boss promised cat girls, we gon git cat girls
