@__Lewica @RobertBiedron @PolsatNewsPL Moze by zrobic model Duński - masz mieszkanie nadajce sie do zamieszkania - masz pol roku na to zeby je wynajac albo sprzedac. Wystarczajaco duzo mieszkan stoi puste.

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@PaulDJohnston Argument for refactoring and scaling code is kind of mistake - refctoring is hard because of strange/complex code and language. And you shouldnt have „big projects”. They feel „big” because it’s hard to think about them.

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@PaulDJohnston I don’t use static typing on every day - but if I would to choose it is to spread information for many developers about shape of processing data. For instance in Clojure there are equivalent tools too, just working in runtime.

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@AliAlimedina42 @nikitonsky I understand your point, but I learn a lot from @nikitonsky complaining

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@koziolek W macach mozna kopiowac tekst ze zdjec ;)

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@jetbrains thanks, I hope every one will be safe soon

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@leniwalewaczka może najpierw z nim pogadaj, zanim bedziesz angażować trzecia osobę? :)

pisząc zonie probujesz go ukarać? nie wiesz jaka maja relacje, wiec nie wiadomo czy to pozyteczne. jak już masz komunikat do niego to mu go przekaz najpierw :)

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@leniwalewaczka moze maja otwartą relacje?

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@unclebobmartin How this is aligned with companies that needs to grow because of VC?

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@nikitonsky This is even more “swim”

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@btbytes @nikitonsky yes and no.

yes: for example: java is backward compatible.

no: Technically you can use a Java 1.4 code, but all libs get upgraded using the new syntax, forcing you to rewrite your code. Clojure is not changing so much as language.

[Niki @nikitonsky]

Clojure. Run any version you want, they are all on maven and never going anywhere. Supports any version of any OS. If you want to upgrade, no brainer too, 100% backwards compatible

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@pchiusano you have to be totally annoyed by JSON than ;)

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@Schegge42 @unclebobmartin sure. why not choose a tool that will support you in what you do?

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

@bxlewi1 @unclebobmartin both

[Uncle Bob Martin @unclebobmartin]

I’m teaching a new programmer Clojure and Java at the same time. I started with Clojure. Once they got a handle on that, I introduced Java. After a few weeks my student said: “Gosh, this would be so much easier in Clojure”. She’s right about that.

“There is a new far-left fascism that demands absolute allegiance. If you do not speak its language, perform its rituals, recite its mantras, and follow its commandments, then you will be censored, banished, blacklisted, persecuted, and punished”

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

why micromanagment is bad idea and microservices suppoused to be good one?

for every problem there is correct size of context.

[Krzysztof Kaczmarek @SihingKK]

"No one really knows how the most advanced algorithms do what they do. That could be a problem."

Oh common. It's common problem with all complex software, not only created by "AI".
