When a patient is bedridden in a hospital or at home, someone needs to take care. To feed them, bathe them, and give them medication among other chores. This role is seen as one for adult caregivers but sometimes this responsibility falls to the young children.
One of our programs focuses on empowering these children to continue the caring role for their loved ones but also attain formal, technical, and business education!
Over the years, our support has transformed many of them and their families. The support enables them to realize their full potential at different stages.
This week, our team is hosting the youth under our program who are in Technical Vocational Education and Training for an empowerment camp! They will learn form one another and pick important lessons from the camp facilitators.
