I also want to pay honor to Drew Campanale (@campanale5) of @RMCfootball.

We learned today from Coach Arruza that Drew was banged up since Week 1 of the Playoffs, although he continued to play to try to get his team to the Stagg Bowl. The ups and downs of Drew’s college career are amazing — from a nearly winless experience at Franklin Pierce to a perfect regular-season record at RMC as a starter (and a 4-1 #d3fb Playoffs record as a starter). Coach Arruza’s praise for Campanale in the post-game conference today speaks volumes to the character and talent Drew possesses, and I’m thrilled that this Gagliardi Trophy Semifinalist was able to show the college football world that he belongs and is a leader on and off the football field.

Congratulations on finishing your career with unbelievable resilience, Drew — your story will inspire many D3 players for some time to come.
