My mum denied me

While I was in secondary school (SS1)
I can’t remember the term

I got to school one morning and suddenly saw that it was raining cane

The type of cane that you will hold pillar and they will flog your back or bum or anywhere it landed

I felt the denial in my bone 😭😭😭
This act alone made my proprietress view me differently
She was surprised my mum took the matter calmly unlike other parents that withdrew their children

Here is the interesting part
I dressed up and mummy followed me to school. I was happy that my teacher would never touch me again not even when I am innocent.

Brethren
The same mum that has promised me to fight on my behalf gave the teacher maltina and the owner of the school.

We were sent away and by night my elbow had doubled
I wouldn’t have told my mum about the cane but because of the obvious injury, I told her everything.

She was obviously angry. She treated my would and promised me she would follow me to school and fight the teacher.

After the beating galore,
All SS1 and 2 were sent out of the school compound by the owner of the school

This incident made a lot of parents withdrew their children from the school
(My classmates from then can attest to this story)

I didn’t know what we did but despite being innocent you had to join the cane shower

It was called discipline 😒😒😒😒

That was how it was my turn and I don’t know how I used my elbow to take the cane

I raised the sandal up
Lo and behold it was designed for female children
