Global Investors Summit का ढिंढोरा पीटा गया: 1,779 MoU, ₹3.56 लाख करोड़। रोडशो पर जनता के लगभग ₹100 करोड़ ख़र्च हुए | फिर सरकार ने ₹1 लाख करोड़ को "ज़मीन पर उतरा निवेश" बताया।

* आटा चक्कियाँ, खाद-बीज की दुकानें और छोटे क्लीनिक "निवेशक" गिन लिए गए। कुछ को पता तक नहीं था।
* ₹35,279 करोड़ - यानी 35% - सरकारी बिजली कंपनियों के हैं।
* CSR और दान से चलने वाले एक स्कूल को ₹24.49 करोड़ का "निवेशक" बताया गया।
* ₹1,200 करोड़ के "निवेशक" की कमाई चार साल से शून्य है, और रिकॉर्ड में उसका एक भी कर्मचारी नहीं।
* दुबई-लंदन के रोडशो से ₹27,975 करोड़ का दावा हुआ, पर "ज़मीन पर उतरे" निवेशकों की सूची में इन दोनों शहरों की एक भी कंपनी नहीं।

और समिट से सिर्फ़ सात दिन पहले, 1 दिसंबर 2023 को, "निवेश" की परिभाषा ही ढीली कर दी गई। इसे कहते हैं: पहले नियम बदलो, फिर आँकड़े बताओ।

MASSIVE GDP RIGGING | Everyone knows our GDP is being manipulated to project strong figures every quarter. Modi & Co. have used multiple methods to achieve this, but what Subhash Chandra Garg revealed was just the tip of the iceberg.
We investigated the direction Mr. @Subhashgarg1960 shed light on and unraveled the gigantic scandal behind the administration's version of India’s GDP. We were shell-shocked, and frankly embarrassed, to realize how we had missed such a critical issue.

Now, government economists and so-called "spineless experts" appear across compliant media outlets attempting to explain away the discrepancy. Their strategy is simple: "If you cannot convince them, confuse them."

Subhash Garg’s argument is straightforward:

Every year, an inflated GDP figure is released relative to the previous year so the year-over-year percentage growth appears robust. The following year, those earlier figures are revised downward while another inflated estimate is published, repeating the cycle indefinitely.

Mr. Garg highlighted the example of Q1 FY2025-26. Specifically, the April-June nominal GDP was initially reported as ₹86.05 lakh crore on August 29, 2025. One year later, on August 31, 2026, that same figure was revised down to ₹80.00 lakh crore. An astounding ₹6.05 lakh crore, or 7.03%, was erased from the previous year's first-quarter GDP.

Listening to the apologist experts attempting to justify this, three main talking points emerge:

a. This was a one-time adjustment resulting from a base-year revision for real GDP.

b. Mr. Garg is comparing apples to oranges.

c. Routine revisions occur periodically, as they did under the UPA.

Most casual observers will get lost in the jargon.

The data demonstrates that a discrepancy of this magnitude is not merely a routine adjustment tied to base-year revisions. That base-year change occurred previously and applies strictly to real GDP calculations, not nominal figures.

At a glance, the initial manipulation occurred shortly after the current administration took office, effectively suppressing UPA-era baselines. While officials attempt to defend this via the 2015 methodology overhaul, subsequent trends tell another story.

During demonetization, growth in the final quarter was initially overstated by ₹61,336 crore, only to be quietly revised downward later to minimize the policy's apparent fallout.

Ahead of the 2019 General Elections, figures were similarly inflated by ₹2,15,936 crore. Following the pandemic, these distortions escalated significantly.

The "apples to oranges" defense fails because identical metrics are being systematically downgraded year after year by hundreds of thousands of crores. These are not minor statistical noise or standard data reconciliations; they represent deliberate adjustments designed to mask economic stagnation.

Furthermore, this analysis directly compares nominal GDP to nominal GDP, entirely bypassing the inflation adjustments of real GDP. (1/2)
