#IndiaUS | US Primary but Bharat impact
This is the time in our life we stop being so complacent in our lives and become more politically aware to protect our future. There is a sense of shutting down the voices that are contributing: @RakhiIsraniCA, Candidate California

A Fremont high schooler wrote me a letter detailing how polarization now divides former friends and classmates. This needs to stop.
Career politicians use divisive polarization to win elections, divide communities and gridlock government. We cannot let them win.
We can't work together, and move our communities and country forward if we can't talk to each other.
Join us. Vote by June 2.

I have officially filed to run in the upcoming CD14 special election but am still hopeful that our party can unify and avoid risking the lengthy and expensive process.
I have signed the statement agreeing to sit out the special election if all my fellow Democratic candidates put aside their personal ambitions and come together to ensure that the seat is filled quickly and responsibly by a Democratic unity candidate.
The regular primary for the full term is coming on June 2, when voters will have the opportunity to make their voices heard.

I am shocked and deeply dismayed by the recent allegations. As a Bay Area resident, this hits close to home. It takes courage to come forward, and my thoughts are with the women who have shared their experiences. As activists with the United Farm Workers, these women spent their lives fighting injustice. By speaking out now, they are continuing that fight.
Through my work with survivors of sexual assault and domestic abuse as a lawyer and nonprofit leader, I've seen how difficult it is to come forward, especially when those accused hold power. As we're seeing with the handling of the Epstein files, power too often protects itself instead of victims.
I'm encouraged to see leaders within the farmworker movement taking these allegations seriously. That kind of response helps create space for others to speak out. They're proving that the movement endures.
The women stepping forward today are doing all of us a service. I stand with Dolores Huerta and the other women.
Happy Holi from United Hindu Council!
As spring awakens the earth in vibrant colors, may this sacred festival remind us of the timeless play of Shri Radha and Krishna, where love transcends all barriers, devotion unites hearts, and playful joy celebrates the divine in every being.
In the spirit of the Hindu ethos - ahimsa, seva, dharma, and the truth that the entire world is one family, let us:
- Educate ourselves and others in the beauty of our shared heritage,
- Elevate every voice, especially those facing injustice,
- Energize our communities through compassion, unity, and fearless advocacy for peace and dignity worldwide.
May every splash of color wash away misunderstandings, every laugh strengthen bonds of brotherhood, and every act of kindness reflect the divine service we owe to one another.
Wishing you all a Holi filled with forgiveness, harmony, renewal, and unbreakable love.
Educate. Elevate. Energize.
Happy Holi!

One thing I actually agree with from the #SOTU: ban insider trading by members of Congress. Full stop.
If you're making laws that move markets, you shouldn't be trading stocks.
Let's get this done.
Happy New Year from United Hindu Council!
As we reflect on 2025, we're overflowing with gratitude for the incredible accomplishments we've achieved together for the Hindu-American community! Guided by our values of Educate, Elevate, & Energize, we raised educated people on Hindu contributions like H1B Indians contributing billions to the US economy, while trying to bust false narratives and countering xenophobia with facts. We raised awareness on global persecution of Hindus outside of the US, shared interfaith messages & built alliances!
We elevated our community by combating Hinduphobia, celebrating wins like Gov. Newsom's veto of SB 509, & launching our Diwali-Thanksgiving food donation & blankets drive—collecting ~800 lbs of food for those in need, embodying "sewa"! We energized with vibrant Durga Puja events featuring youth dances & music, reaching 500+ & fostering pride in our traditions. These successes? Powered by YOUR unwavering support—volunteers, donors, & participants who turned ideas into impact! Thank you for making it possible!
Looking ahead to 2026, we're excited to deepen our work: Launch digital campaigns, talks, workshops on youth empowerment; scale food drives to 1,500 lbs & advocate for anti-hate laws; host cultural and promotional events for hundreds in dance, music, & leadership with virtual global reach! Your active participation—as volunteers, advocates, & leaders—will light the way to a brighter, unified future! Let's carry the light forward together!
As Swami Vivekananda wisely said, "After so much austerity, I have understood this as the real truth—God is present in every Jiva; there is no other God besides that. 'Who serves Jiva, serves God indeed'." Inspired by this, let's uplift humanity through service & unity! Join us—DM to get involved! #UnitedHinduCouncil #HinduAmerican #EducateElevateEnergize #CommunityService #CulturalPride #2026Vision
@ashishvyas__ Being Brahmin or Shurdra will not give you money or high status. You can be a modi and lead a country and you can be Dubey and die in police attack.
You just need to be proud santani and proud of your ancestors. Vyas or Nishad, think about your forefather that the pride in them
The barbaric lynching of Dipu Chandra Das, a young #Hindu factory worker in #Bangladesh's Mymensingh district on December 18, is a chilling testament to the unchecked rise of Islamist #terrorism ravaging minorities worldwide.
This innocent man was beaten senseless, and set ablaze by a bloodthirsty mob of vile Islamists - simply for purportedly daring to utter the unifying truth that "all religions are the same" or "all gods are the same with different names."
In their demented, #intolerant worldview, such words are blasphemous, a crime worthy of death.
Even more horrifying: the police, sworn to protect, stood by as Das pleaded for his life. Videos emerged of him scared and pleading to the police to protect him and another video showing the mob setting his body on fire after having strung him from a tree.
Reports suggest they handed him over to the frenzied horde, enabling this premeditated murder amid anti-India protests that have turned #Bangladesh into a hunting ground for #Hindus, #Christians, #Buddhists and other vulnerable groups.
This isn't isolated savagery - it's a pattern fueled by appeasement and cowardice from leaders like Muhammad #Yunus , the Nobel laureate heading Bangladesh's caretaker government.
#Yunus has emboldened these radicals by giving them free rein, turning a blind eye to the systematic persecution of minorities.
Temples vandalized, families displaced, lives extinguished - all while the world watches in silence.
The cost of such spineless "tolerance" is paid in blood: emboldening fringe extremists who prey on the defenseless.
Look no further than #Australia , where just days ago, on December 14, 2025, Islamist terrorists inspired by the Islamic State opened fire on peaceful #Jews celebrating #Hanukkah at #bondibeach in Sydney.
Fifteen innocents slaughtered - including a 10-year-old girl, a British-born rabbi, and Chabad Rabbi Eli Schlanger—in a premeditated act of antisemitic terror.
The gunmen, a father-son duo, targeted a joyous menorah-lighting event, turning a symbol of light into a scene of carnage. This massacre, the worst #antisemitic attack in Australian history, echoes the global jihad against Jews, Hindus, Christians, and anyone deemed "infidel."
From Bangladesh's streets to Sydney's shores, Islamist extremism thrives on inaction.
Governments appease, media downplays, and radicals grow bolder.
How many more Dipu Chandra Das must be burned alive?
How many more Hanukkah gatherings must end in mass graves?
The world must condemn this evil unequivocally - cut funding to regimes that harbor terrorists, expose enablers like Yunus, and protect minorities before appeasement claims more lives.

Let's see if #UNHRC condemns the lynching of Dipu Chandra Das - a #Hindu, by the frenzied Islamist mob in #Bangladesh and calls for accountability to punish the perpetrators.
The only crime he committed was being a Hindu in a Muslim majority country like Bangladesh where the #Yunus govt has given up protecting minorities.
For 496 years, Hindus in their own motherland were denied the right to worship at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi - the very birthplace of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram.
Year 1528: Ancient grand Hindu temple razed by Babur’s commander.
300+ years under Mughal rule: worship banned, lives lost for daring to offer aarti.
British era: Courts refused even a small canopy on Ram Chabutra.
Post-1947: Nehruvian governments locked the gates in 1949, called Ram Lalla an “intruder” in His own home, filed affidavits doubting Ram’s existence, and kept the site frozen under “disputed structure” politics while minorities got instant rights.
Yet Hindus never picked up arms.
They fought with faith, lawsuits, shila pujan, kar seva, rath yatras & millions of bricks inscribed with “Shri Ram”.
From 1885 mahant petitions to 2019 Supreme Court verdict - every generation passed the torch.
On Vivah Panchami Nov 25th 2025, a 22×11 ft saffron Dharma Dhwaj now flies atop the 161-ft shikhar of the reborn Ram Mandir.
Embroidered with Surya, Om & Kovidara tree, it proclaims:
Truth can be buried for centuries, but it rises again.
This is perhaps the FIRST time in recorded history that an ancient indigenous civilization has peacefully reclaimed & rebuilt its holiest site destroyed by invaders - without conquest, without revenge, only through satya & dharma.
Jai Shri Ram! Victory of Sanatan over centuries of falsehood.

Today, on his 150th Birth Anniversary, APNADB honors Bhagwan Birsa Munda (1875-1900), the "Dharti Aaba" (Father of The Land), a fearless tribal hero who championed indigenous rights. His iconic Ulgulan movement fiercely fought colonial exploitation, which unjustly stripped the community of their ancestral lands. He displayed unwavering courage by relentlessly protecting the dignity and traditions, directly challenging the conversion mafias operating under colonial protection. Munda's struggle had a lasting impact, inspiring countless others and ultimately leading to land rights legislation like the Chotanagpur Tenancy Act of 1908. #birsamunda #BirsaMunda
On this Veterans Day, UHC proudly honors the brave men & women who served #America and defended freedom across the globe!
