@Arno57119Arnold Dude, try to keep track of your arguments. You were just complaining about people today serving in CONUS (as opposed to all those WWII folks at the Bulge). So what is it?
@Arno57119Arnold "They might have served several months after the war ended" is not the argument you think it is, and if you want to start figuring out where people served, spending your entire WWII in CONUS (as many did) isn't that impressive either.
@Arno57119Arnold@mousemcnet People in the WWII Army were doing less time for similar reasons. You apparently know nothing about actual history. Also, wow, why do you hate our current military?
@Arno57119Arnold@mousemcnet It's absolutely impressive when the original post suggested the current generation was lying around whimpering about email. So, no. Try again.
@mousemcnet@AlexHollings52 Hollings' comment was a comparative one about the denigration of today's generation. My response highlighted how the current generation is filling the military's ranks with 100% volunteers. Your rhetorical response of "you didn't understand" is embarrasing and you should avoid it
@mousemcnet@AlexHollings52 That criticizing the current younger generation for lacking the fortitude to volunteer for military service ignores the fact that they are, in fact, volunteering to fill the current military.
