Enemy of vice, arbitrary power, and pretty lies. Friend of family, the Constitution, and inconvenient facts. MAGA. Writing the book they hope you skip.
Sounds like you are in a tough spot, I'm not really much of an advice person so I can't really say do this or that.
What I will say is communication is just as much of a key as understanding. I don't mean understanding as in being an understanding person, though that is helpful. I mean it from the perspective of understanding the influences and environment that have shaped men today. Our societal norms have created a pretty stark message over the last couple of decades, "men are the problem", "men have to change", "men aren't needed", and so on, the list of critique is endless and not adhering to that has had devastating consequences for men. Reputation destruction, financial, career, life.
People are a product of their environment, their life experiences. No matter what choice you make, understanding the environment that shaped the men in your life will help you better understand why they make the choices they do.
Though we occupy the same world, there is significant difference in how that world treats women and men.
JANE HOE: No, there isn't "more" to this woman's story.
She wasnt a victim. She wasn't vulnerable. She wasn't assaulted.
She was the ketamine version of a coked up party girl having the night of her life til word got out.
Then its R. Then its feminist narrative fuel.
That's all it is. You just need it to be more to support your warped hateful opinion of men.
And that's kind of key here.
A lot of men are taking stock in the rage being projected over a consensual drug fueled group love (Jane Hoe) and an unconsensual child group ending (Lindsay Clancy) and are horrified at the discrepancy.
Interesting thought I had while reading your post.
It is being claimed she was "pressured" to give consent and thereby the consent is not valid.
So lets play that in reverse, women pressure men all the time for things but, it's not called pressure, it's called compromise or "convincing".
So utilizing the same standard, if a woman convinces a man to give her money, he could then say the next day that he was robbed right?
Oh the tangled web we weave.
@DataRepublican I read something recently on this, the claim was that the panic over AI was actually a ploy to institute regulation that actually protected and didn't apply to a select few AI companies. Don't remember all the details though.
She’s right; when you read the evidence, this was consensual.
Immoral, disgusting, and dangerous.
But consensual.
Here’s the better idea: don’t do drugs. Don’t have sex with strangers. Don’t have sex with several people at once. Don’t take advantage of intoxicated people.
