If you’re wondering why kmbb are using the tags against Starship:

The generation-based fanclub wasn’t just about getting a kit or early ticketing.
It gave Monbebe a sense of identity, like, “I joined during this era. I’ve been here. I belong.”
It made being a Monbebe feel personal. Special.

And now Starship is taking that away.
No more generations. No real benefits. Just ₩25,000 a year for a digital card and “access to content.”
It feels empty. it feels like Monbebe don’t matter at all. And even worse, it makes MX words seem meaningless lies.

this new system doesn’t protect the fans OR the members. It opens the door to scalpers to swoop in for merch and tickets and resell it for triple the price. It strips away the bond. It pushes international fans even further behind with NO benefits at all. And it puts all the burden back on MX, again, to hold everything together.

I completely understand if someone doesn’t feel like joining, no one’s being forced, and there’s absolutely no judgment either way.

That said, I’ve seen a lot of my imbb moots express disappointment as well, especially about not being able to get the physical kit (the membership card especially) that used to come with the membership. For some, it would’ve been their first time receiving one, and now they won’t have that chance at all.

I think that’s where a lot of the frustration is coming from, from losing access to something that held meaning for many.
