@Skentelbery re Football - I'm 57, recently went with a friend on quick break to Barcelona and we were offered tickets to my first ever match. Barcelona won 5-1! Twas an amazing experience! Bit surreal when the supporters sang Sweet Caroline but best night ever. Go try it Jules🙂

@Skentelbery Hi, re EHCPs. Our primary school refused to apply for one so I did it myself.Despite annual reviews, EHCP has only been updated once. Child now 17,EHCP totally out of date. The constant fight for appropriate SEN support has affected their and my Mental Health 😕

@Skentelbery Hi Julie, re dentists. I researched/ produced a report on NHS dental availability for the CAB in 2010. It was a follow up to another CAB report 5 yrs earlier. Nothing has changed. Reports have no effect if the people receiving them don't act on the info within them😔

@ChurchfieldJE @BBCCornwall Morning! Re queues at the bar - many yrs ago I worked at a holiday camp. Opening night each week the new campers would be 4 deep at the bar. We would hand out coins to toss to see who's served first, or sort them by surname. It usually worked well and made everyone smile 🙂

@Production_DanB @Skentelbery And some more: using roladex to find someone's number/address. Sending a telex message, using Teletext to find a holiday, sleeping on the car luggage rack so siblings had more room on back seat, using a manual till when working in a pub/shop..the list goes on 🙂

@Skentelbery @Production_DanB Couple more ideas-ironing with flat iron heated over fire. Sharing bathwater after siblings have been in it. Cleaning sparkplugs then heating them in frying pan before returning them to engine.

@Skentelbery @Production_DanB My mum still had the rubber hoses on her bathroom taps till a few weeks ago when the Council built her a wet room 🙂 Favourite memory as a child is finally being thought responsible enough to be allowed to put clothes through the ringer after coming out of the twin tub 🤣

@Skentelbery Hi Julie. In 2010 I was a volunteer with CAB. I was asked to compile a report on NHS dental care in Cornwall. The figures re lack of dental care were unbelievably dire. Dread to think what that report would look like if updated today 😔

@Skentelbery Hi Julie, here's my canteen which I bought back in the 80s for my parents 25th Wedding anniversary. Bought at a very posh shop in Paignton and felt great pride at being able to pay for it in cash, at the huge sum of £150 (having saved up my wages) 🙂

@radioMelO Hi Mel, never been a fan of 'modern' horror but love suspense movies such as the original 'Rear Window' with Jimmy Stewart, or ultimate favourite 'The Bone Collector' with Denzil Washington. Fabulously scary movies with little or actual gore 🙂
