This is just a set up for Knuckles. There's literally only 2 possibilities of what could happen:
-Donkey Kong stomps Knux since he hasn't gotten anything new since their last deathbattle
-They use chainscaling to get him to Sonic's level, and he wins

1: One of the biggest reasons Shadow was able to win at all was because of an upscale FROM SILVER
2: Silver is literally the only hedgehog of the SSS trio to have never lost on Deathbattle.
