@JakeCan72 Jake has it wrong and so misleading! Yes, Chevron has moved its HQ out of CA but not its two refineries. Both refineries are very important to the Bay Area and the LA area. If they were to shut them down you would see even higher gas prices and a lot of unemployment

Let’s fact-check this in real time:

1. The 11% number? Made up.

The Democratic staff report she’s waving around says household electricity costs are up ~$100 in 2025 that’s 5.8%, not 11%. She literally inflated it by almost double.

2. The $789 overdue balance is real… but the trend started years ago under Biden.

It was already $597 in 2022 and climbing fast while she was in the majority. Funny how that part didn’t make the graphic.

3. Electricity prices rose 25% from 2020–2024 on her party’s watch the biggest four-year jump in 45 years thanks to shutting down reliable power and subsidizing intermittent renewables.
Now she’s shocked that bills are still high after only 10 months of new management?

This isn’t oversight. This is deliberate deception dressed up as concern.

Classic playbook: break the system for years, then blame the guy holding the broom when the mess is still on the floor.

Americans aren’t stupid, Senator. We see the lies. We see the receipts. And we’re tired of being gaslit over our own utility bills.

Drop the fake outrage and try telling the truth for once.
