@OcornelsOnX Misinformation spreads because that is the objective of the misinformer. Often, violence is the cause, like spending money you don't have to push a narrative you cannot counter. Trust has very little to do with it. Humans are not born low in trust, they are conditioned to be so
@OcornelsOnX@inglorious_bat Unfortunately this context is informed by studying western civilizations which were inherently rooted in violence hence low trust. We have adopted it and made it our reality. And in exchange we given away our Ündűire or Ubuntu making the entire society a bunch of thugs.
@OcornelsOnX@inglorious_bat A low-trust society means the default is skepticism. We don't just mistrust the govt, we don't trust each other. We assume everyone is out to get us. Primarily caused by failure of institutions and a long history of traumatic violence.
@KuwaSTRNG Cool Designer threads can cover the surface, but they can't fill a hollow core. True presence requires a rooted identity. I’m Gikuyu, yet I know nothing speaks for the soul of this soil we call Kenya quite like the Maasai. You can't buy belonging.
@mariahsudi Used to happen in Kikuyu culture. Kid is sent to stay with the rich uncles. Lakini capitalism made us so individualistic that the rich uncle and auntie started seeing the young potential as a threat.
Anti-blackness is global. Some of our black, American brothers and sisters, including the xenophobic movement FBA and some from the Caribbean and Africa have not get the memo. We have no friends. We have no allies all we got this each other.. some of those giant forces with white supremacist, thinking that we have a seat at the table. Now my friend, they don’t care for us.. they just tolerate us because they cannot do without us.
Hahaha!
There's an employer who was asked to pay a security guard Ksh 900,000 for unfair dismissal, in March 2025.
The employer was served and she never responded to court summons nor appeared before the court.
The security guard served her via WhatsApp and he presented the WhatsApp message as his evidence.
The court concluded that the WhatsApp grey ticks were a proof that she saw the court documents and deliberately decided not to respond nor defend the suit.
The pair of grey ticks on WhatsApp was used as evidence in the Employment and Labour Relations Court,
And she was asked to pay the former security guard KSh992,146.60 in compensation after the court found his dismissal unlawful and unfair.
@Zone345689@StHonorable@ali_naka You do understand that foreigners were also part of the people buying from Spar. Some thinking would tell you, less buyers, reduced earnings, unless y'all cover the deficit, which means...🤔
If Black South Africans were gathered in the millions armed with crude weapons in order to chase away Boers who have enslaved them, stolen 90% of their wealth and rendered them destitutes in their own country, fascist @realDonaldTrump would have sent warships, launched tomahawk missiles and orchestrated a @UN Security Council resolution condemning the violence and calling it “White Genocide.”
@elonmusk would have turned @X into a White Revolutionary Media!
But because the victims are Black Africans, the entire white world is silently cheering!
@DrLungi_Mashele The rich employers will simply legitimise these immigrants. They are smarter, more productive which means more bang for the buck. Cheaper to get them a Visa than hire an arrogant, less skilled, entitled South African.
