@CyclingWerewolf@InsideOut2912 The riders themselves are probably the only ones, need to organise themselves properly and outright refuse to race themselves eventually if it comes to it.
@ManfredHenker@laflammerouge16 You can have a technical finish without creating unnecessary risk to the riders. There's at least 5 other locations within a kilometre of where the race finished that could've been used to provide a technical race finish without that extra risk posed by the cobbles.
@BenjiNaesen Aus commentary team at least mentioned it being dangerous at the end, although they also said they loved the finish on the cobbles so take that opinion with a grain of salt.
@bodoquejusthit was honestly surprised my smaru managed to beat this falco in a room match, my pwr is way lower than it needs to be imo. was my best rating yet on mant tho so still proud of it and loving mant so far.
Oscar visibly and rightfully furious after that. Led every session all weekend and clearly had the pace to win tonight but yet again screwed by McLaren strategy. If neither McLaren driver wins this championship it will be the biggest fumble in F1 history. #QatarGP
@BenjiNaesen Can someone teach the aussie commentary team about Solers acting? I swear every stage he's won their comments have been "he looked like he was getting dropped" as if Soler doesnt try and bluff every breakaway he's ever in๐
@DonAmbungan@BenjiNaesen What exactly else do you suggest they try? Just sit there and let the breakaway win the stage and be content with second in the GC?
@F1 By the logic of the rule drivers can now just let the brakes off to make sure they get to the apex first with no intention of actually making the corner. "Car behind at apex so lost right to the corner" car didnt make the corner so lost right to the corner should be the rule....
@faleshafaye @F1 No, theyre rightfully blaming the fia. It makes 0 sense that you can run yourself and the overtaking car off the track just because you made apex first. By that logic you can steamroll in to be first to apex with no intention of staying on track to defend your position.
"Car 4 was not level at the apex therefore lost the right to the corner" Ok i guess we can run as deep and wide on exit as we like as long as we're ahead at the apex. What are we doing FIA???? #F1#USAGP
@F1 "well max was ahead at apex so deserved pen" last i checked that meant nothing if you rush to the apex but then dont make the corner... What is going on with f1.....
Why am i seeing so many arguments about who was ahead at the apex? Any other racing series if you're ahead at the apex but dont keep it on track on exit then you've forfeited your right to the position. We gonna say max v lewis at brazil was ok because max was at the apex first??
@sk8erhardy .... They were literally both off the track... As someone else i saw posted, if lando drops behind does max then get the penalty? Based on how the race was stewarded I'd wager it would've been no further action.
Honestly so lost in terms of the rules of F1 now. If youre overtaking on the inside and go off the track on the exit its forcing another car off, but if youre defending on the inside and force a car off then its gaining an advantage for the other guy? Doesn't make sense #F1#USGP
To be clear, not a fan of max or lando, just feel like it leaves a sour taste after a really good battle for the final laps. Imo if both guys are off the track then play on.
