@Brain_342@hack_ravenadler Thank you. After almost a month they finally unlocked my phone. However I bought a new one of the same value since I cannot be without a phone. I think they should pay for the new phone. They do not. I'm going to take them to small claims court to see what happens. Wish me luck.
Bought an unlocked phone from Samsung. Completely paid for. Went with T-Mobile. Decided to change carriers. Totally paid up account with T-Mobile. Now My $1100 phone won't work because it is locked by T-Mobile. A month now and all I get is "We're working on it."
Hey everybody. Go with any other carrier than TMobile and you'll probably get a better deal. I went with Cox and it was way cheaper than TMobile and just as good. But beware. Your phone is probably locked by TMobile. (Should be against the law in my opinion.) A month to unlock.
@MikeSievert
The phone has been unlocked now by TMobile. That no doubt about it puts the blame on TMobile. I had to buy a new phone while I waited almost a month for the phone to be unlocked. I expect TMobile to pay for the new phone.
TMobile finally unlocked my phone after almost a month of denying it was them. Now I am stuck with a useless unlocked phone and paying for the one I bought to replace the locked one.
@Brain_342@hack_ravenadler Thank you. Yes. It's been a month of the blame game. Samsung blames T-Mobile and vice versa. In the meantime I bought a new phone of equal value. My goal now is to get T-Mobile to reimburse me for a phone I shouldn't have had to buy. I sent an email to the CEO.
Anyway my phone is locked by T-Mobile and no one seems to be able to fix it. I bought another phone of the same value. I paid $1104 for the phone that is locked and now useless.
@MikeSievert Hello. My name is Mark Simerman. I bought a phone from Samsung that came with a T-Mobile SIM card. The phone was unlocked. I got it that way in case my situation changed and I might want to go with another carrier.
