Isabelle Simi, pictured here with her husband Fred, was nothing if not resourceful. Soon after Prohibition ended, she had a 25,000 gallon wine cask rolled out from the cellars to convert into a new venture: Simi’s first tasting room.

From wine making to also wedding hosting, Simi winery has come a long way!

Isabelle Simi took over the Simi winery at age 18 and for 70 years, she lead the winery & her legacy continued with fearless female winemakers ever since.

Today we celebrate and raise a glass to Isabelle Simi on what would’ve been her 136th birthday.

For 70 years she fearlessly led our winery, showing us how to #BringOutThatBoss.
