@DsMatie With a high volume with loud music and hundreds of people speaking, it might also be hard to understand names of people and companies. Especially when hard to pronounce.
Sometimes people remember a logo better than names or faces.
In the end, people can still choose to wear them.
@DsMatie With the event having a wide variety if different attendees, app devs, theme devs, agencies/freelancers, merchant, and some that don't fit any category, I think they can be helpful.
Not only to check who you might want to talk to, but also who is approaching you.

@liam_at_shopify No. To heavy and clunky. I'll use a bike to get around, stand at Shopifolk booths, will hang out at the after events, etc.
If you plan on offering a lot of things that will require a laptop, pooling them in one day would be great.
Or offer lockers 🤔
