Allright, time to drop some sauce on that 1M Day.
First of all creatives: The difference between $200-300k and $1M days isn't in refinement anymore. Your ad spend doesn't get carried by 1 or 2 main ads, it's a mix of ( for us ) 10-15 best ads across different platforms ( next post will be about platforms ). You do not care about testing budget anymore, even if you end up blasting 20k a day on tests that'll still only be a fraction of the ad spend. We launch 400 creatives every single day.
Literally throw as much shit as you can at the wall and scale what sticks.
The issue is fulfillment. How do you set up a system able to deliver 400 decent creatives every day. Our setup is simple: Let (expensive & good) agencies do the heavy lifting by giving them the task of cracking net new concepts. At the same time, build an internal team with the goal to iterate on these net new concepts + take inspo and apply everything going on in the market. Constantly track what other brands are doing, even ones not necessarily in your niche. Search for ad formats, angles, issues, recent facts, special sales. Anything that could be repurposed and applied to your brand. There's something to learn everywhere.
Next one will be about all the platforms we use and some insights on new platforms ( like applovin campaigns setup etc )
Keep scaling!
$1’000’000 in ONE DAY. Yesterday me & @ecom_rg hit a HUGE milestone. Couldn’t be prouder bro. A year ago we almost sold this brand for 2 mil. Yesterday we netted $190k. I’ll share the most important learnings we gathered on the way here in the next few days, but today we celebrate.

Here's the exact sale campaign setup + best sale creatives to run:
The real money in ecom is in the backend
If all your profits come from new customers, your business isn’t built to last.
Most stores break even on the first sale or even take a small loss. The real profits come from upsells, repeat buyers, and backend marketing.
No email marketing, no retargeting, no upsells = money left on the table.
A customer who buys twice is worth 5x more than a one-time buyer. If you’re not maximizing lifetime value, you’re hustling for scraps.
The Ching Chong Chad scaling checklist to make $100k/day with your Ecom brand this Black Friday
Keep everything SIMPLE
1. Black Friday website optimization
Make sure you include "lowest price of the year" messaging.
Some customers are still waiting for Black Friday day itself to purchase (they believe sales will be better) which is why some people see slower sales leading up to that
- Add an announcement bar that mentions the sale
- Change the hero section of your home page and collection pages to mention the sale
- Mention sale details somewhere in the order form (the section from product title to volume selector)
Keep the offer stupid simple.
"60% Off" - That's It
"Buy 1 Free 1" - That's it
2. Best Black Friday ads to run
2 types of ads that do well for Black Friday
- Take existing winning ads and add a Black Friday banner to it
- Product images with a strong headline that emphasizes Black Friday sale + Sale details
"Black Friday Sale! Get 50% OFF" - That's it
Keep it stupid simple to understand.
3. When to surf scale
Black Friday only happens once a year, you need to make sure you're taking advantage of it.
If you're running a sale you will see a higher volume of sales come in than usual, so you want to be scaling way faster.
Instead of scaling daily, you want to be scaling multiple times a day.
The period to scale depends on how much you're currently spending and how many purchases you get
More purchases, faster to optimise, more actions you can take without harming performance
In general:
If you're spending more than $1k/day you could do it every 4-6 hours
If you're spending $10k/day you can do it every 2 hours
4. How to surf scale
Ideally, you want to use a 3rd party tracking tool like Triple Whale for this, as you can see real-time what's the exact performance for each hour
You can do this on FB as well if you break down by time of day/hour but it's not as accurate.
You want to be tracking everything in a sheet.
If you choose to surf scale every 4 hours, track performance for each 4-hour block and make decisions based on performance for each block.
How much to scale depends on your targets.
Let's say you aim for a 2x ROAS on that time block but you got a 2.4x ROAS, I would then scale 20%.
If it was 50-100%+ above your KPI, you aimed 2x but you get 3x ROAS, I would then double the budget.
At the end of the day, you would reset your budgets.
Why?
If you surf scaled to 100k/day in spend, it wouldn't spend that full amount. And if it did, it won't be profitable.
If you didn't reset your budgets lower before midnight it will still try to spend that 100k the next day even if you reset it afterwards
So what should you reset the budget to?
Context matters, if you were ending your Black Friday sale the next day, you'd need to reduce it way more than usual.
In general, what I do if the day ended well, is to take the total budget we spent that day and reduce it in half. That's the "reset" budget
Some people might do less and that's fine as well, depends how risky you want to be and how much volume you have coming in.
If you were spending $50k/day you can reset much lower and double every hour for example.
