Valencia fan Vicente Navarro was immortalised as a statue in Mestalla after following the club until his death, despite losing his sight in his 50s.
Tonight, his statue will be his club's only spectator vs. Atalanta in the Champions League.
@_theface@jonworth Thanks, such a dilemma, our Lib Dem candidate says he basis this on 30k sample in the constituency rather than a 300 person sample the vote websites take their data from. When couldn’t one of them just stand down to let the other fight against the tories. I’m still no clearer!
@jonworth Hi Jon, great job and with the amazing Brexit flowchart. I was wondering can you advise on Colchester - 3 way battle likely to be Tory with Brexit party leaving. Should one be Lib Dem or Lab for this one? History would state Lib Dem, Tactical vote sites say Lab. Any thoughts?
@Tina4Colchester Tina, why should I vote for you? I’m against Brexit and not wanting the Conservatives in here again. Sadly no candidates have canvassed my house to see where my vote will be of more value. Please let me know why it should go to you and not the Lib Dem’s?
#WorldChildrensDay A heart-breaking moment in an SS picture of Hungarian Jews near gas chamber IV at #Auschwitz II-Birkenau in 1944. A child found a dandelion in the grass and is giving or showing it to an older boy. All the people in the picture were gassed moments later.
@willquince@BorisJohnson How lovely to be read to from a script board off camera. I guess that’s all you get when your MP backed Hunt in the leadership election..... this makes me not want to vote conservative
@finnysteve can you settle a Sunday bbq discussion please? I could swear I saw you play for Essex Eagles in a 20:20 match vs Kent sometime around 2005-2012. Did you play for Essex on loan? I could swear I saw you bowl and can’t find any stats and my friend don’t believe me! 🏏
As I said earlier, there is a good chance that in meaningful votes on Tuesday and Wednesday, MPs will back either a softer form of Brexit that breaches the PM's red lines - on ending freedom of movement and negotiating trade deal - or Kyle/Wilson referendum plan. I have now...
In a recession induced by a No Deal Brexit, the privileged will benefit. Buildings become cheaper to buy, labour becomes cheaper to hire, Sterling becomes easier to acquire, so while the ERG pretend that Britain will do better, their mates might, the poor will be crushed further.
