@BearsPipe There was a TV programme in the 70s/80s here in the UK called The Generation Game.

At the end it often had a silly prize (in a memory test) of a fondue set.

Nobody knew what it was for in those days 🐻

PS, there was usually a cuddly toy too.

@autocar The 1248cc diesel in 06MY Astra H, worked ok in the Fiat Panda but GMs implementation was woeful.
Mine was recalled twice in the first six months for starter replacement then glow plugs due to cold starting issues.
Rejected it & was replaced FOC by a 1.7

@AutoPap My dad’s wealthy friend had a Ferrari Dino for decades.
After he’d used his wife’s K11 Micra a few times, bought himself a K12 (replaced his ‘work’ BMW) did over 250k in 15 yrs in it.
He said there’s no need to waste money on anything more !

Many cars that tailgate and/or driven aggressively seem to contain a toddler and/or baby.
Defensive driving will ensure their survival more than any test results.

The main reason for buying my somewhat mundane BMW, is that the previous owner dared to pick the ultra rare “Saddle Brown” upholstery

It has a panoramic roof too, everyone comments on how pleasant it is inside.

Have a look at the BMW i3. Don’t really see those in hedges either.
