@LindaRaschke Thank you for everything you do! Learned more than from all TA books I’ve studied. This proffesion is not about TA though. This is what I’ve also learned reading your posts. I think some are born for it.
Dear Saty! I am trading for 5 years. Started small with CFDs and futures of SP 500. I am consistent for 2 years in ES. I know the SPX chart by heart, since it is the only instrument I trade. Kindly advise me what is a realistic timeline to learn trading SPY/SPX options. Thank you!
@MichaelPBento “They needed this war, they played it by the book. Chapeau to Bessent! We have to trade what we see, not what we feel. I fully agree with you, from a fundamental view. But as per TA, it is impecable piece of art. A lockout rally to remember, even if there are chances it fades
@Basssem666@NoelKapela Or this Hormuz/war narative will be the biggest bear trap ever. I do not know how Bessent succeded it but I am sure it is his touch, to say the least
@satymahajan TA at its best. Thank you! I wish I could be like you, let my edge play out and do not distort with emotions. Grateful for all you post here
@Basssem666 I always come back to Bob Farrell when I look at this rally. If everyone”s waiting for a pullback to buy, the market won’t give that opportunity and when it does, you should not buy
@market_sleuth That was a subtle sign on 9/10. Also, price recovered after the gap down on 13, within the same area. I was long with a small position and got stopped out on gap down and reacted emotionally on the news there was a bad outcome in Islamabad. I was wrong not trading TA
Investors invest and traders trade. I’m the latter so I don’t predict…I react to what PA this market gives. I’ve been watching the markets since 2018 and full time trading only SPX/SPY for a couple of years. This rally we are witnessing will stay in the trading books. I learned A LOT from it, especially how to mitigate risk and not transform a small loss into a huge one. I stayed disciplined. Thank you, John!
