Knife Attack on Golders Green Road – Suspect Detained by Shomrim and Arrested*

One male was seen running along Golders Green Road armed with a knife and attempting to stab Jewish members of the public.

Shomrim responded immediately and detained the suspect. Police attended and deployed a taser.

*The male has now been arrested.*

Two victims have been stabbed and are being treated by Hatzola.

The suspect is in custody. Further updates to follow.

I hope as many British Jews as possible stand with our friends from Iran and Somaliland at two important demonstrations coming up. Maybe some of the ‘humanitarians’ we hear so much from will find the time to join too.

On Sunday at 15:00, the Iranian community and its allies (including the Jewish community) will gather at Downing Street in solidarity with the brave people of Iran who are rising up against their oppressors.

Just as CAA and others in the Jewish community have been demanding, the demonstration will call for the British Government to proscribe Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organisation. It is shameful that this has not been done already, especially when the current Government pledged to proscribe them before they were elected.

On Wednesday at 12:00, the Somaliland community and its allies (including the Jewish community) will gather at Downing Street in solidarity with the people of Somaliland.

The demonstrators will demand self-determination for their people and re-recognition by the United Kingdom, of the former British protectorate of Somaliland. Perhaps for a change the British Government could try recognising an actual state that meets the criteria of the Montevideo Convention, is democratic and stands against terrorism.
