@HarriHursti@WAuditors Thanks for the great work Harri. Just to be clear - do you mean the programs are written in Basic or you are only going to decompile the most important/simple?
1/ Athens-Clarke is coming to terms with the fact that the new scanners chosen by SOS are not counting all the votes. The Elec. Bd. has called emergency meeting.
They are the first county we are aware of to take initiative to deal with this serious matter.
See thread ⬇️
For journos looking at the #GA primary meltdown, some important background: The new voting system was extremely controversial & there was tremendous public opposition. https://t.co/Il1A5T5g9r
The failed voting system used in GA was wildly unpopular but forced on the voters of GA by the SOS.When one county tried to ditch the voting machines, the @GaSecofState punished them.
This failures is entire @GaSecofState

"a variety of breakdowns included blown fuses at polling locations — because the voting machines overloaded the electrical systems" If only someone warned that could happen. Oh wait, @MarilynRMarks1 did.
This is another problem caused by universal BMDs.

@justsystms @seanmcarroll@KillChaindoc Absolutely right. But the only way to guarantee that the computer counted the paper ballots correctly is to audit them.
Absolute insanity today in GA. How did we get here? @KillChaindoc: The Cyber War on America’s Elections on @HBODocs tells the story of @GovKemp and the undermining of the US electoral system
IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TRAINING TO HAND SOMEONE A PIECE OF PAPER.
The @GaSecofState 's excuse that lines are due to untrained pollworkers is craven & irresponsible.
He forced GA to buy an electronic voting system that is inherently complex & prone2 error. https://t.co/fmJP1r7VMv
.@GaSecofState forced through a $107M electronic voting system against the will of the public & his own task force guidance.
For months experts have warned this systems will fail GA voters but the SOS crushed any attempt by counties to go to paper ballots. This was PREVENTABLE.
June election will be a melt down? Cobb is short 400-500 poll workers.
The @GaSecofState demands to use labor-intensive unauditable touchscreens instead of paper ballots is creating huge labor shortage, busting the budget and health risk. 1/
