Subject: URGENT – Death of British Citizen Richard Baddeley – Case No. 02503861 – Request for Ambassador’s Intervention
Dear Ambassador Bryson-Richardson / Consular Team,
We write to you as the devastated parents of Richard Baddeley, a British citizen born on 6 February 1981, who died in his sleep at a hotel in Cairo on the morning of Friday 24 July 2026.
Richard was with his girlfriend, Miss Emine Özkarslıoğlu (a Turkish citizen whom he had known since 2024). She called an ambulance and he was taken to El Munira Hospital. Our son lived in Istanbul.
At 4.00 a.m. on 26 July, Miss Özkarslıoğlu telephoned us in England in great distress and handed the phone to an English-speaking doctor at the hospital, who told us: “Your son is dead.”
We have repeatedly telephoned the British Embassy on 0020 109 638 0001. We have been told each time that someone will get back to us, but no one has contacted us, and we have not been assigned a case worker. Our case number is 02503861.
We understand that our son’s body is now at the Zeinhom Morgue in central Cairo for the purpose of establishing the cause of death and issuing a death certificate so that we may arrange for his body to be repatriated to England for a funeral. We are unable to contact the morgue ourselves as we do not speak Arabic.
We are in deep grief and distress. We respectfully and urgently ask you to intervene to:
assign us a dedicated case worker without further delay;
facilitate and expedite the investigation into the circumstances of Richard’s death;
assist with all necessary procedures at the hospital and the Zeinhom Morgue; and
help us obtain the death certificate and arrange the swift repatriation of our son’s body to the United Kingdom.
We are available at any time:
Simon Baddeley – +44 (0)7806 816730 – [email protected] Baddeley – +44 (0)7526 307486 – [email protected]
Please treat this matter with the urgency it deserves. We are relying on the support of His Majesty’s Government for our only son.
Yours sincerely,
Simon and Linda Baddeley United Kingdom
Hi, I signed a petition to The Rt Hon Shabana Mahmood MP, Secretary of State for the Home Department which says: Say no to two-tier ideological police training. Will you sign this petition? Thanks! https://t.co/ysCcG3Xqis
Ugh. This is DISGUSTING @LushLtd. Teenage girls love to shop in your stores and here you are happily encouraging them to CUT OFF THEIR HEALTHY BREASTS in the name of trans pride.
This is beyond repulsive. It's dangerous and sick. No parent should allow their child near your stores.

One for n0ncery.
One for m@sturbating in front of nurses.
And that was just Monday!
It's almost like these men are just raging perverts isn't it.
But OF COURSE it NEVER HAPPENS!
This is trans.
