If there’s one thing I’ve held to through my life, it’s that no learning is ever useless or wasted. Learning for its own sake is meaningful and rewarding; it doesn’t have to serve a purpose, or fit a grand scheme. It can just be to satisfy our curiosity. It’s what makes us human.
@rachkmc Totally agree! Not read it quite as many times as you (!), and haven’t done so for many years, and decided a few days ago to re-read it this winter.

@clark_aviation@RAF_Cosford Air Days, as well. RNAS Yeovilton used to hold an annual air day. Planes and displays from all the services, and many from abroad. Went every year as a kid. But hasn’t been held for several years now, and unlikely to ever restart.
