But IMO that's not such a big issue. You need to investigate how much does CO2 actually affect the earth's temp. How much heat can a CO2 is molecule hold and reflect. In knowing these figures we can calculate that CO2 levels will need to raise by a factor of 4 to create a 2.4degC increase in the earth's temp.

It is also a fact that 95% of all radiant energy (IR sunlight) is absorbed by CO2, at pre-industrial levels. That leaves 5% of radiant energy still to be absorbed. And since the CO2 green house warming component of the planet is about 3degC, the extra 5% of radiant energy that can still be absorbed, will only add 0.15 degrees of warming.

Therefore the argument that CO2 is our problem is lost.
