@British_Airways Of course there is... a corporate organisation like BA will have data on response times - so you could contact that department and find out how long I'm likely to wait rather than spout vacuous "sometime in the future" responses. That would be 'real' customer service.

@British_Airways I think the issue here is the concept of 'Possible' - you keep saying "as soon as possible" but without any context that could be 12 weeks or 120 weeks... I'm after a little clarity here because I feel it should have been possible for BA to deal with this within 11 weeks.

@British_Airways Is it a team of '1'?? Because I don't feel like you're really picking up on the "11 weeks" and no response aspect. Presumably you deal with these in date order? if so could you please tell me what dates you're up to so I can gauge how much longer I'll have to wait.

@British_Airways Why does it take 11 weeks just to be looked at? So far I've had 8 automated emails each saying "We're really sorry" and "this isn't the service you should expect" etc etc... but c'mon... 11 weeks!!?? It's getting beyond a "delay" and becoming a problem. Is BA about to go under?

@PoetAshes @stygianumbra @iamdima24 I guess it will be for the court to decide, and that really was my original point that it’s perfectly valid for a court to do that as their judicial process. If there is no fraud, he will be found not guilty. If, however, he is guilty of fraud the court is upholding its duty.

@PoetAshes @stygianumbra @iamdima24 But the law also states that he must not over inflate the value he gives it, correct? As that’s what constitutes the fraud and it’s that possible fraud that the court is determining. I’m sure there is a lot of nuance in these cases, so it’ll be interesting to see the outcome.

@PoetAshes @stygianumbra @iamdima24 And yes, it’s down to the court to decide if he is or is not guilty of breaking those fraud laws. He is after all innocent until proven guilty. If he’s done nothing wrong he will be found not guilty.

@PoetAshes @stygianumbra @iamdima24 That’s a moot point, if they all drive in a line and then split up and go in different directions but only one of them gets caught, they should still get prosecuted for driving illegally. In a country that prides itself on law and order, why should anyone get away if caught?

@PoetAshes @stygianumbra @iamdima24 From what I’ve read over here, it was to get more favourable rates on loans, but the important thing is that to do that is illegal. And if someone breaks the law, surely they should be held accountable??

@PoetAshes @iamdima24 Isn’t that because criminal court requires a higher burden of proof, whereas civil court is lower. In your example someone definitely died, it’s just what you can charge them with. In Trumps case it’s alleged that he has done something illegal, it’s just what to charge him with?
