Today in the House of Lords we are debating the impact of artificial intelligence on human relationships and society.
AI will shape many aspects of our lives in the years ahead. It brings significant opportunities, but also important questions about connection, dignity, truth and what it means to be human.

Britain has a tax on instruments that don’t exist any more.
It raises no revenue. It never applies. It was meant to be abolished this year, but wasn't.

Unfortunately it doesn’t apply to those zoos, heritage organisations, gardens, museums, galleries, historic sites and other attractions which are charities, meaning that they have been placed at a competitive disadvantage during one of their most important trading periods.
