@grantz_esports So, if the goalkeeper is caught up the pitch, any attacker needs to make sure he's level with the second-to-last defender when the ball leaves the foot of his teammate. (Assuming of course that he's ahead of the ball. If he's behind the ball, it's fair.)
@grantz_esports There is no distinguishing between goalkeeper and defender there. Generally, when we relay the rule to others, we take it for granted that the net-minder will be one of the two opposition players between an attacker and the goal, so we only mention the other defender.
