@EvertonNewsFeed Was sat in North Lower. Impressive venue, but needs more work to feel like home - too much grey. North Lower had an issue with beer pump so no beer from 1hr before the game, queues were a joke, I could smell the water treatment from my seat, £7.50 for a loaded sausage roll.

@EvertonNewsFeed @EvertonStadium Huge and impressive. Loads of room going in, until half time when we were packed in like sardines. There are more ladies' toilets, which is a plus on Goodison. Walls need something on them - some murals of the Everton greats, lots more pics of Goodison, and our history!

@implausibleblog Growing up in a disadvantaged area, with most families in receipt of free school meals including my own family, I don't think I would be in the position in life I am today without the education I had received. The state schools around me were not of a high standard.

@implausibleblog The problem is the education system and lack of equal opportunity. My mum was a single mum of 3 working as a care worker with no other income.All 3 went to private schools on scholarships because she wanted us to have a better start in life than she ever did. It changed our lives

It makes me feel uneasy that I'm agreeing with @piersmorgan. However, my single parent mother worked 3 care worker jobs to ensure we went to the best local secondary schools (private). All 3 of us gained scholarships and receieved bursaries. We were absolutely a breadline family
