Yesterday afternoon I had two separate sessions of "PD" where teachers just had time to share what they're doing, ask hard questions, and talk about things we're learning.

There is nothing more valuable than an informal space where ideas are swapped.

PD planners, please note.

I used to be like, "Well, you didn't do your writing, so I guess you can't do the lesson or practice your conclusion with us."

Now I'm like, "Here's a sample essay without a conclusion. I still want you to be able to work on the skill and be a part of the class."
