I love what Lane8 did, so if you watch his mix mag set at verboten in NY there’s this one girl that spends the whole set infront of him with phone up recording. I believe this was the final straw for him to then decide to launch the “This Never Happened” tour in which all of his gigs you were explicitly told you’ll be ejected from the venue if you’re seen with your phone out , I think some venues even made you surrender your phone for entry. I went to one of these gigs in 2017/18 can’t remember and it was a way better vibe with no phones.
@orlaminihane@Sargon_of_Akkad Tbf his point stands separate to the case that’s currently in court in America. Also in this specific case the defence has never claimed she didn’t kill the children, so again his point still stands regardless of the trial outcome
I’ve listened to quite a few podcasts with him and I don’t think that’s a fair representation. Besides ad hominem attacks of reform is not the way to build the broad coalition that restore really needs. I seriously encourage all restore members to act in good faith and don’t reduce to the same type of rhetoric that reform is criticised for. You attract more bees with honey and all that
Matt your entire campaign msg for Makerfield was get Starmer out, now you seem to be taking the approach of don’t vote for @RestoreBritain cause you’ll get Greens. You’re a smart guy why can’t you see that people are voting Restore FOR something, yet you seem to only campaign on the negative against other things. You don’t own the rights vote, earn it by acting in ways that show honour and have policies that people believe you will actually deliver.
@SydneyLWatson I’ve always wanted a black person to do a stunt where they get some real high quality makeup / effects to appear white and then put “black face” on top of that to see everyone get mad at a white person doing black face to then find out it’s a black person under it all
@Haryan_Glaeddyv@RestoreBritain You’ve miss understood my premise, something can only be under played if there’s a BIG thing that’s getting little attention, assume I agree there’s little attention and re read my not really comment.
Some of the comments here are sadly proving my point. I couldn’t be more native to this land if I tried & there’s yet to be a Restore policy that I disagree with. I say these things to highlight that I probably couldn’t be more of a fertile restore voter to keep on side / win over, yet the defensive / aggressive approach with completely wrong assumptions about my views and thoughts are exactly the type of rhetoric that alienates people. Not to mention if any of you actually listened to @KonstantinKisin you’d see he has a lot of things inline with Restore policy, I mean ffs in this episode alone he explicitly says words to the effect of “foreigners shouldn’t expect / get welfare in any country and that includes me when I came here I didn’t expect any handouts”
No thanks, reforms behaviour lost my vote, I don’t believe in tactical voting I believe in voting for people and policy’s that I believe has the best chance at making the country a better place to live in. Farages treatment of Lowe was the final nail for me to abandon hope of Reform not just being another politician
I do hope @RupertLowe10 reads all of the comments below the original post, looks like both myself and you have highlighted an electability / likability issue and then both in the reply’s have been proven our comments valid. And before you all start no I’m not suggesting sacking loyal staff , simply stating that a more careful and constructive approach moving forward would be beneficial
@PopolVuh7@Far_Right_Memes@Harry_pitt Way to miss the point, where did I say that it’s policy does ? If a bus takes me to the destination I want I may ride it despite there being people on it that don’t have 100% the same views / values that I have.
