Mpuuga Jeremiah is now 7 years old. He is a son to Olivia Lutaaya, our comrade who remains detained at Luzira Prison for over three years- simply because of her political views. Today Olivia Lutaaya should have been one of the parents attending her son's Parents' day event at his school. But she is in prison. So we joined Olivia's auntie and other parents to be with Jeremiah on this day when he moves from Top Class to Primary One. Even though it was a day of celebration between parents and their children, you could not miss the pain in Jeremiah's teary eyes. Her auntie, told us that in the morning as they prepared to come, he told her 'Kale singa maama abadewo!'
