@itsfoxyjohn Yes for me Frew was the best I’ve worked with… an incisive analyst and a lovely style.He’s now retired and living in Bristol.

[Simon Reed @SimonReedTV]

@Jodurie @BBC Say it isn’t so. I ve just loved working with you and all the wacky times we had on the way. You were the gold standard for colour commentators.. knowledgeable fun and always your authentic self.
Enjoy the next chapter x

As I understand it the only way Rio Ngomoa can get in the World Cup squad now is if someone gets injured.
Let’s hope next week’s training sessions are VERY physical.
How on earth he wasn’t in the original squad is beyond me.

[Simon Reed @SimonReedTV]

@MarkJLittlewood @BetfairExchange No he’s not .. it’s Burnham

[Radim Cerny @radim_cerny]

@WW3finalboss

@stu_fraser Well done Stuart and go well

[Simon Reed @SimonReedTV]

@Jodurie You will be hugely missed Jo.. you are a class commentator, delivering your insight with clarity, honesty and with humour. What a pleasure it has been for me to work alongside you, to share some magical moments and have such fun along the way.

Super tennis from Cincinnati.. it’d be even better if we could see the ball!

[Simon Reed @SimonReedTV]

@DermotMurnaghan @nickowentv @vivjones10 All the best with the treatment Dermot.. fond memories of C4 Breakfast.

So Liverpools coronation and the F.A Cup semi kick off at exactly the same time. WTF! Do the F. A and the Premier League not talk to each other. You couldn’t make it up.

[Simon Reed @SimonReedTV]

@ewenmurray77 @patrickendrick Nearly right Ewen.. but of course you missed out yourself. Again .. a masterful job.

[Ewen Murray @ewenmurray77]

America discussing the merits of Mike Terrico and Jim Nantz at the Masters. One was doing radio, the other television. 2 very different disciplines. USA are fortunate to have the best 2 presenters/commentators in world sport. Both are exceptional.

[Simon Reed @SimonReedTV]

@ChrisBradnam1 Hope you’ve got my pressie🙏

[Simon Reed @SimonReedTV]

@IanDarke I agree Ian. Series started ok but disintegrated each week.. by the end it was a caricature of the way it had begun.

I was worried mens tennis would never be the same after the Roger, Rafa and Novak era.
Watching Sinner and Alcaraz go at each other, those worries are over. This is a truly scary level. They probably won’t win the same number of slams but they’ve certainly raised the bar again.

Thanks Andrew👍

After all the extraordinary drama of the last few days, suddenly Andy’s career is over.
It’s been a privilege to commentate on his journey.
I’ve covered plenty of sports but I’ve never seen another British athlete who wanted it more or deserved such phenomenal success.
