I drove ALL of downtown Saturday. It was a ghost town.

I couldn't even figure out a way to drive along Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd in front of the Arch. Entry point after entry point was blocked.

This city has a rich history of being a Mississippi River town - yet the riverfront is a dead zone and offers nothing but a few riverboats for tourists.

So much for the 4th Amendment!

A civilian employee was found to have used the Flock cameras that have popped up all over the county to unlawfully track someone? I applaud our county for taking the steps to discontinue use of these cameras… but this is just the first step in what needs to be a state wide approach to protecting Missourians’ 4th amendment rights. It’s absolutely frightening to think that warrantless surveillance can occur on law abiding citizens with their information stored in a database that is keeping tabs on everything they do… especially when a civilian non law enforcement employee is monitoring folks without a court order, warrant, or permission from them.

I call on all municipalities and counties across the state to immediately stop using these cameras and infringing upon the rights of our people
