You're a man. Get out of your fucking room. Pack your laptop. Go to a coffee shop. Work from a hotel. Rent an Airbnb for the weekend. Take a train to another city. Go for a long walk. Go ANYWHERE but the same four walls. Sometimes changing your environment can break the mental loop you're stuck in. You don't need to wait until you feel motivated. Put your shoes on. Step outside. Get some sunlight. See different faces. Move your body. Work somewhere new.
Good women are generally very lowkey and not that socially visible. The reason you think they don't exist is because they are protecting themselves and trying to avoid unwanted attention. The trash is loud and plentiful, but there are more beautiful feminine souls than you think.
IF YOU'RE A MILLENNIAL (BORN 1981–1996), AND YOU'RE REBUILDING YOUR LIFE, START WITH THESE 20 THINGS.

dating to marry will make you realize that the "plenty of fish in the sea" narrative is false. alot of people are really not worth that level of intimacy
People who spend long periods of time at home and slowly lose the desire to go outside often think they're just resting. But psychologically, many of them are experiencing something called mental rumination. It's a state where the brain starts slowing down while the number of thoughts inside keeps increasing and the motivation to do anything slowly disappears. The mind gets stuck in the past, worries about the future and burns itself out. This isn't laziness, it's a nervous system stuck in survival mode. And the longer it lasts, the more distant normal life begins to feel. And the difficult part is that you usually can't escape it through one massive burst of motivation. And sometimes, recovery starts with just one small step.
My favorite line from Atomic Habits has been living in my head rent-free:
“It doesn’t make sense to continue wanting something if you’re not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don’t want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”
Fuck around and never hear from me again. I’m really like that. No speeches, no long goodbye, no dramatic exit. Once I see enough, I adjust access and keep moving. I can care about you deeply and still decide you’ll never have that version of me again.
Go back to that dream He gave you, go back to that promise that He whispered in your spirit. You have to stir it up. Get your passion back. Get your hopes up. Start talking like it’s on the way. Start thanking God that it’s coming.
