And the ending of Spider-Man: Brand New Day... man, this really means something to me. 🕷️

No new suit.
No final web-swing.
No big superhero pose.

Just Peter Parker waking up to a brand new day.

And honestly, I love Marvel for this.

Every Spider-Man movie seems to have a visual way of telling us where Peter is emotionally. This time, instead of ending with Spider-Man swinging through New York, we get Peter simply looking out at the city.

Not the mask.

Not the suit.

#Peter.

And that makes the title Brand New Day hit so much harder.

There’s also that beautiful visual parallel with Jean. They've both been through something traumatic, and even though they're moving forward separately, there's now this connection between them. They shared something that changed both of them, and that bond doesn't simply disappear because they're no longer standing together.

And yeah... I'm not gonna lie, I did miss the final swing 😂. A big Spider-Man swing would've been incredible.

But the more I think about this ending, the more I understand why they chose not to do it.

It reminded me a little of Tobey's Spider-Man 3, where the story ends with Peter and MJ embracing rather than another giant superhero moment.

Sometimes the most powerful way to end a Spider-Man movie is to show the man, not the Spider.

And this time, Peter isn't looking back.

He's looking at a brand new day. ❤️‍🩹🕷️
