One that that truly pisses me off is when people say things like “i’m not a rapper, im an artist” or “this isn’t art, this is rap”. This is not true whatsoever. Rappers ARE artist and trying to separate the two is an inherently racist things labels, magazines, blogs, etc use to diminish the art form of rap.
