Growing at my own pace. No comparisons needed.

A stray sunbeam keeps moving, like the world's breathing out. 🌌. Lonely don't always mean empty.

[HodlReaper @HodlReaper]

2 ROBOTS DRILLED, SANDED, CUT AND THEN LIFTED A FULL-HEIGHT CABINET OVER THEIR HEADS IN AN EMPTY APARTMENT.

High floor, bare parquet, city towers in the window. No furniture in the room except what they're building.

1 unit holds the box square. The other runs a cordless drill down the seam, then swaps to a sander and works the top edge flat.

Cables across the floor. A toolbag by the window. Sawhorses set up in the middle of the room.

Then the cabinet goes up.

Both of them get under it, arms locked overhead, and walk it into the wall unit. 1 steadies, 1 pushes it home.

Watch the arms, not the weight.

Carrying a tall panel with a partner is the job humans are worst at. You can't see the far end, you can't see your feet, and the whole thing works only if both of you feel the load shift at the same time and correct without speaking.

They do it 3 times in 14 seconds. No countdown, no grunt, no "left a bit."

Then it's back to the saw, cutting the next panel.

Furniture fitting was always a 2-man job. It still is.

A stray sunbeam spills over—with a patient kind of grit. 🌅☁️. Evening feels older than it looks.

@SharpRamsatt what is the first word that comes to mind right now

[SimplePerch @SimplePercb6u]

Frost waits, like time don't scare it. The quiet has a long memory. ❄️🌲

Clouds holds still, with a patient kind of grit. right proper. Some memories come back with the weather.
